I love this new palette, but I’m worried that many of the shadows will look the same on the eye because of how shiny and metallic they are. Have you experienced this at all?
I agree. I just got the palette and literally 3-4 of the shimmers look almost identical on the eyes…lol

hello Patty! I am slowly adding to my rephr collection, but my favorite eye brushes are 12, 13, 14 and 3! I use them so often! I am going to pick up this new set for sure because I really like the look of the dense cheek brush and the concealer looking brush.

Hevnt tried the Rephr 26, but you should try it upside down to apply crease color. Like hold it with the tapered side upwards so that it diffuses upwards. Rae morris has an identical brush that is also for hooded eyes, and thats how she said to use it: tip of the brush along the crease, so that the hood falls on top of the taper. and then back and forth to diffuse etc.

I’ve been waiting several weeks for the PML quints to arrive and at this point, I’ve lost interest. I have a feeling I’m going to return them when they arrive and depending on other reviews, may grab the Adept palette instead. This looks stunning.

I finally bought some rephr brushes for such a great price in the concept store! I also got all the units to the makeup organizer! I've been using my number 1 and 4 brushes non stop! I also have number 3 and 28. what's your fave brush for shimmers that you usually use? I love the natural hair! I also grabbed my first bk beauty 101 brush! I'm not a glitter/shimmer wearer (I use them very sparingly) so I won't be getting the Adept palette. Don't get me wrong, it's a stunning palette, I just prefer a more matte heavy palette.

I use 35 for buffing cream contour because I have incredibly small face and this brush allow me to blend the product only in the area I want (below cheeckbone)
I got the Rephr brushes because you have made me obsessed with them (they're the best brushes for Pat's shadows and I wear a lot of Pat and Adept too). I'm a little sad that I probably won't use that last brush much, because like you I don't need it but it's still a good deal. I hope you get the credit for the sale because I made a mistake and had to close my browser and go back. You really are the reason I got them.. I was on the fence because I've spent so much this holiday season already and have all the brushes you suggested... but... new! I'm holding off on the Adept palette because I just bought Nihidryene (Sp?) and also, honestly for shimmers, I feel like I have the same colors with Pat's palettes and know I'm going to use Pat over them these... but we'll see I could change my mind. These shimmers remind me of Glam Shop Crystal Eyeshadows! Very sparkly and this is more like a festive palette probably for holiday season 😀

@@irinatanase7150 no, before Multichromes are listed the Crystal Eyeshadows, those are super sparkly. The turbo pigments are duochromes and those are gorgeous of course 😅
@@irinatanase7150 those are worth every penny, i suggest you check some youtubers who made some swatches with each shade, but yes are super sparkly 🤗
@@AndreeaC. In the Turbo Glow collection there are simple neutral sparkly shades as well so that’s why I was confused. I’m really curious to see how much they differ, but even if I dupe myself I won’t be mad cause there’s never too many sparkly shadows 😍 thank you also! Adept seems to always include purple in their palette regardless of theme. It is actually why I have never bought from them as purples do not suit me. This would have been amazing with neutral mattes. Skipping but thanks for the review Patty.

Okay, I need to get my hands on that Rephr 36 concealer brush as soon as they sell them individually! That pallete is so beautiful and right up my alley, but feels like a lot of those shimmer shades are repetitive and having a few adept pallets already I don't feel like I need it 🙃
I skipped out on this and now I have fomo lol. I love adept but some the shades are a little repetitive. But I have everything else from them and they are so sparkly!!! However it also scares me and my oily lids lol

Ordered the brush set! I love my rephr brushes. I have a few but even with this new set I still want more. I feel like I need multiple of my favorites. I really want to get a natural hair powder brush like a huge fluffy one but they're so expensive and I rarely use powder but for some reason I really want one. I've never ordered one because it's like I can get a full set of sonia g eye brushes or get 1 powder brush you know?
Patty, will you update us on wear time? Sometimes these super creamy shades separate and don't last long on me 😬
It's all about the primer. I like smashbox and urban decay in terms of wear time. On top of that, I do nyx glue with shimmers. She did say 8 hours no creasing in the video.
With the primer I used I took it off after 8 hours and it was still looking really good!

You have to use glitter glue on your lids right before you apply the sparkly shadow. I also use eyeshadow primer on my entire lid before I use mattes to anchor the look.
I have oily lids and with using both of those, I have no problems.
I love refer excellent customer service excellent quality I ran I did not walk I stepped up on a few more vanity pieces of course the new set a course at a 39 bucks for three was unbelievable. Oh yes I am their asses wide and awesome deal that for us and what an awesome essence is!!!

They are professional grade and will apply any difficult shadow and enhance blending.
Natural hair brushes are especially good with pro level formulas like Pat McGrath. They are soft, not scratchy, and last a long time.
