Iâm going to assume that youâre not currently an iOS developer and if thatâs true, i want you to keep one thing in mind: As youâre applying to jobs, you only need one employer to give you a chance. Once youâre in, youâre good because thatâll give you a chance to learn on the job and learn from more experienced iOS developers and allow you to build up your resume.

Good points. But I would argue that you should use version control even when working alone. Let's say you are a new developer and therefore, introduce a bug here and there in an existing app. It helps tremendously if you can simply go back a few commits and see what introduced the bug. So for me version control is a must for every developer and every project (private or professional).

Hey Chris!
Great video explaining these in detail.
I'm wondering if your 90day swift course does include SwiftUI or is it Only UIkit?
Cheers!
Hi Elias! Our 90-Day Swift Course is all SwiftUI. We have a separate course only for UIKit. - Pat
Great
Thanks! - Pat
Please make a video for experienced iOS developer(5-6 years ) who wants to switch company.
Hi there! You can post video recommendations here app.productstash.io/codewithchris#/ideas :) - Pat
Hi Chris
I finished college a couple months ago and I am really interested in the mobile field , particularly in swift(Thatâs how I found your videos). I wanted to find out if swift/UI is a good language to get into and will it be able to support me financially in the long run. Im from South Africa and honestly love your videos so far , keep it up!
It depends where you live

Iâm 16 and going through Paul Hudsonâs 100 days of swift ui, do you think swift ui will be more used than ui kit by the time I would get an ios job?
Hi, do you think iOS development is good for full time freelancing? Lot of ppl saying only web dev is good for freelancingđ
Apple and Google would be laughing at those people. I mean, yeah the web is amazing and you can use Flutter to code iOS, Android, Web App all in one.... but if a company wants to use some very specific features of an Apple product (Watch Heart rate system, 3D Touch, LIDAR camera sensor, etc...) the web dev is not gonna do much!
Watch Apple's Keynote next week and let's see what the new iPhone 14 will offer. I'm pretty sure it's gonna be some amazing Apple style hardware and feature that all iOS dev will jump around for!
You can freelance with any platform, just go with the one YOU love! There is always gonna be a company who will need an Android dev or an iOS dev somewhere. (plus iOS devs can now create an iOS + macOS + iPadOS + watchOS all in one app!).

Seems like climbing Mount Everest for beginners. Sigh

Gotta start somewhere, Michael. Iâve taken Chrisâs free courses and I feel like his paid iOS course (CWC+) is definitely worth it. No doubt Iâll have to put in the hours and commitment but think of how itâs worth it đ» good luck if you choose this iOS path!!! You can do it!!!
