Dune: Spice Wars A great match on the new patch showcasing the hegemony capabilities of House Ecaz and their THREE Champions! Featuring: Milocat, Xelth, and u12
Yeah im learning so much from watching you, even though i´ve never played the game. I feel like I could almost play it after watching a few of your videos 😅
This game is amazing man. I bought it yesterday because of you and Turin. Soon gonna be playing pvp bothering everyone with my noobish ways. This match politks was so fun. Best political game ever.
Hell ya brother! We organize a lot of games and talk shop in the Turin discord, Dune channels. In case you want to join us there for a fast track to knowledge and power.
I just discovered your channel and I loved your commentary. If I may, I think the miniature of the video miss a visual clue about the game: this one could work as well for Chivalry II or For Honor
16:15 about Harvester Works and masterpieces (edit: I was wrong!) : I think they don't synergize. Masterpiece says it counts as 2 buildings for village quirks, not as 2 buildings in general. But I might be wrong, my assuption is based only on wording. Also, great video as always. Your content must flow :D
Just did a test, Masterpieces do count as two buildings for Harvester Works. Not the first time in game descriptions don't precisely match the mechanics, alas.
1:06:00 moments of absolute despair right there. And the crazier thing is he actually clutched that game lol insane heg gains for the champions for sure
I think you lost the big fight vs atreides because you focused the militia, which is chunky but low dps. Mean while he focus fired your dps. Also, the monument debufwould have been good cuase most his damage is from human units.
For the disappearing buildings, if you're bankrupt you basically start losing structures Also, Ecaz best faction! Love them to bits, although still feel they got both the short and long end of the stick in the patch
That did get nerfed down. Old councillor Mesa Ecaz gave you 3% bonus authority for each neutral masterpiece and that was flat removed, so very limited incentive to build masterpieces in neutral villages.
I liked the idea, personally. I felt it was too strong, but thematically it felt like a House was helping a local, oppressed village create art about rebellion, and were able to take that art and put it back into the machine of oppressing more people. Kind of like how in our life many times the best thing for capitalism to do to anti-capatilists messages is to comodify it and put it on hats and in movies and just make it a part of the way to make money.@@bradmoshenko7733
corrino is straight up OP in terms of economy. Irulan is carrying this faction to the moon. I made 2k+ solari per day as corrino and basically owned choam, nobody could come even close xD
They are indeed tanky as heck, no problem at all making one a champ. I think I lean towards musket champs more because I like the extra heavy hitting power and they're a little easier to keep an eye on and disengage as needed.
@@daevohk Ahh I see. I think for the micro in a poke situation it makes a lot of sense. But for an all in fight, that decides the game, a giga tank could be good. I come from playing league, where players are maybe a bit crazy about mid maxing stats, so bear with me. Here are my full thoughts: So championing gives 2 armor, 20% power, and 20% max health + the hero gives 1% per stack. So dps wise, 20% damage is fine but most of these buffs are defense. So the armor and bonus health scale much better on squire, because both armor and bonus health scale with armor and max health. just for reference, I am looking at a game where a knight with 30 stacks has 495 health and 13 armor when surrounded by people. the squire with only 3 stacks has 10 armor with 895 hp. thats crazy. If he had the 30 stacks he would have 1100+ hp or so - meanwhile a musceteer wouldn't really survive much longer then a normal one and only has 1.2 - 1.4 times the damage of a squire anyways. So basically choose roughly between 10 dps more, or 500 well armored hp more
Traditionally Ecaz are weak early game, and in long wars because they struggle to replace losses quickly due to long train times and limited training slots. They did get a buff in this patch though that gives +50% training speed if a champion dies. That is a huge help. Their champion hege harvesting is weak to armies with large range contingents who can focus fire down champs rapidly. I think their end game maxed out armies are not as strong as they used to be. Ecaz also want a lot of territory, so neighbors pressing in close prevents them from utilizing thier auth generation to get hege up to where they need it.
@@daevohkAh. So they are more of a "middle" faction. Interesting. Can't wait for you other guides! Your the only one I've seen recently. The game is huge slept on.
Almost all factions have access to 15 agents through the blue tech. A clear weakness for Ecaz is that they have a personal tech there that does not give max agents.
When you are on a solari deficit for some time then random buildings get deleted/blown up. Have fun!!!
😬 Today I learned.
I love this channel because it has only DUNE content! 🎉
Thanks for taking the time to commentate and provide entertaining content!
Awesome content! You've got a great voice, you're friendly and not least of all you've got really informative matches! Keep up the Dune-ing :D

Wow crazy game indeed !
What an awesome game. Nails bitten!
You didnt have any money so you could not shuttle your troops. Pay your uber driver!
Arg you're right! I'm good for it. An Ecaz always pays their debts.
I'm pretty confident that if you go into debt, you lose building durability and that's how so many of your buildings died.

I need a daily dose of Dune Spice Wars in my veins from Daevohk-sama

@@nathanm8174 great, thank you for clarification :)
Nice! Just started watching, hope it’s a good ecaz game
I wouldn't give you the weak stuff
Not a huge Ecaz enjoyer but great content as always!
1:06:00 moments of absolute despair right there. And the crazier thing is he actually clutched that game lol
insane heg gains for the champions for sure
There is always a chance in Dune!
Great content! Can we see a smugglers game?
Yes!
Loving the sune content - would love a video with your thoughts on vernius.
Deal, Vernius tomorrow!
Nice ecaz game
the corino player had to deliver a simple gift of water ;)
haha that eagerness to attack with your deathball of an army at midgame really cost u a lot!
When I'm doing well I start to think 'Im Invincible!' and sometimes that is not actually the case. But sometimes it works!

Is that true that structures go when you're in the deep red?? I have certainly never seen or realized that.
Did they change it where you want to build master pieces on your sanctuaries?
he didn't have the councillor for that, where you can refund 100% of the authority spent when abandoning a village
That did get nerfed down. Old councillor Mesa Ecaz gave you 3% bonus authority for each neutral masterpiece and that was flat removed, so very limited incentive to build masterpieces in neutral villages.
@@daevohk Exactly what I wanted to hear. Kind of felt like a silly tech.

Still waiting for Vernius gameplay)
Tomorrow!
I voice the House Ecaz Monument units :)
Legend!

also i noticed that squire got by far most hp now. and good armor. so he's the most reliable champion to stay alive maybe?

Lol Bullish on Ecaz
