As we move through from summer into autumn there are plenty of gardening jobs that need doing around the kitchen garden.
In this video I’ll show you what I’m up to in my own kitchen garden with crops to harvest, seeds to save, cane fruits to prune, and much more.

Homegrown really is the best isnt it! I love the idea of letting the salad crops go to seed! 🌱🙃
Glad you liked my video. Yes do let some of your salads and herbs bolt and run to seed. Not only are their flowers a valuable source of food for beneficial insects but you can let them mature and collect their seeds. I’ve been collecting seed from my lettuce, rocket, watercress, parsley and coriander. Have a go and let me know how you get on. Good luck.

You must have a big garden and gardening many years. I'm jealous tryed growing some things this year an I eventually had to admit defeat and surrender it to all the wild life who thought it was theirs😂

Thank you! I struggled to remember its name when this lovely little insect landed on me. I was so keen to record it before it flew away. Such a welcome surprise, and so grateful that it found sanctuary in my organic garden.
