This is the best and most touching commercial that the Army ever produced
80's nostalgia....love it!
Years later, Jimmy would be an alcoholic with a dark sense of humor, yelling at kids to “get off the fucking lawn”
You know regardless of whatever you think about the Military this commercial is very moving at the end with the father hugging his son.
When he gets to the MEPS, @ we have no openings in electronics, want to be a cook?”
LOL… “THE GOVERNMENT WILL HELP ME…..”
Better than having two moms
I can just imagine me eating cereal and this comes on💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
The way an Army commercial should be
I think the Army had it right with their "Be all that you can Be" campaign. Make the most out of what's given to you and go beyond that. So much better than two moms.
These days they would issue him a dress and schedule his affirmation surgery.
Just had a mega rush of nostalgia..wow incredible
Joined at 18 in 1993. My Dad told me join the Army or gtfo 😂
so cheesy and makes army a happy little place. too bad not much of war was happening in the 80's still HOOAH
D.B. Sweeny, he looked familiar.
-he gets put as infantry
I remember this commercial in my mid teens.
My drill sergeant used to say, "If you ain't infantry, you aint shit."
