Did you know that you can play as Germany and get the benefits of BOTH Rheinland, Anschluss, etc. AND bring back the Kaiser? Here's how you do that. In this scenario you will also be able to form the Holy Roman Empire if you get lucky - the random event you need only has a 30% chace of success. This opener lets you very easily defeat the allies early, benefit from the return of the Kaiser and get all the outcomes of doing the Anschluss and subsequent focuses.
Rules:
- Play as Germany
- get BOTH Rheinland and Oppose H.
- Ironman

I noticed that it may potentially be possible to bypass the "restore the kaiserreich" focus so you can unlock both the non-aligned and democratic paths. You would need to kill off Von Mackensen somehow but if you could, you would have access to 3 focus trees
Yes, it seems like that might in fact be somehow possible. You would need to go for Re-establish Free Elections, somehow kill Von Mackensen while it's researching and then quickly bypass Revive the Kaiserreich.
But the only way to reliably kill a leader seems to be with console commands, so maybe only non-iron man is viable for this.
Or maybe Mackensen dies in 1945 as he did in OT? It would be a really boring game where you can't do anything but Civilian focuses and no war until 1945 and the benefits at that point would be negligable if not negative. But it's definitely worth attempting once just for knowledge's sake.

i did everything that taureor did but instead of lithuania i invaded netherlands and puppeted their duch indies for tasty oil but hindenburg catastrophe triggered just after i won the war against poland and netherlands does it cancel the rest of gameplay as victoria? 15 persons died in the baloon

Please also be aware that puppets made before the Civil war will seemingly always join Hitler and become independant upon your victory. That's why the Netherlands are not a good first target for this strategy, try Sweden, France or Poland instead.
Also I believe for the Netherlands to refuse the return of the Kaiser, they need to be independant as well. And as you already noticed, for Victoria the Hindenburg needs to survive.

You can't bypass Rheinland while doing Oppose Hitler anymore. Paradox fixed that. I thought I'd tell those who might want to recreate this strategy.

No. Paradox has made it so you can only play the most up to date version of the game.
IIRC you must log in to Paradox so you can get the de-patch codes.

Can you do this challenge for my nation, Taureor?
1. Play as Dutch East Indies on Ironman and Regular difficult
2. Break the chains by going communist
3. Reform the Thalassocracy
4. Liberate the whole South East Asia including East Timor, Burma, and Mandalay
5. Form the "SEA Commune" faction with the whole SEA
Rules:
- Ironman Mode and on Regular difficulty
- You can take Militarism and Military Youth for extra manpower
- You can join the Comintern if you feel didn't strong enough
- You also may help Thai People's Repulic to Strenghten the Rattanakosin Heritage by giving them Indochina. Just make Myanmar by giving Burma and Mandalay to any stateless Indochinese country tags such as Laos or Vietnam. Give East Timor to Indonesia or make it a separate country by giving it to statelss Indochinese country tags too

I know that already, man. It existed in all nations, even my country did it when it was aligned to US from 1967-1999.
Papua wants to join Indonesia because they want to free from Dutch's colonialism, just like the rest of Dutch East Indies in 1945 under Soekarno.
But what did Soeharto pay them after ousting Soekarno with CIA's help in 1967? Military occupations and Freeport-MacMoran investment on Papuan golds since 1968.
Portugal gave East Timor option for independence in 1975, and they mostly choose freedom! But the leading party (FRETILIN) is Marxist, and US of A didn't like them.
So Soeharto manages to infiltrate some loyal West Timorese to make a campaign to intergrate East Timor into Indonesia. Surely FRETILIN didn't want foreign involvement and detain them. This give Soeharto the excuse to invade and occupy East Timor until 1999 with USA support and personal approvement from Henry Kissinger.

Take finland and annex all provinces surrounding the northern sea, creating a technically northern rome. This would be fun to see because you would have to beat germany, soviet union, and even the allies due to the democratic nations such as poland owning land in the wrong place. I think its quite the challenge and it would be very interesting to see you using politics and military power to achive this.

As Italy, declare war on all major factions by 1939 then proceed to hold until 1940 then start attacking by the beginning of 1941 regardless of your situation. If you don’t win by 1943 you have failed the challenge. You can do whatever you want in the intervening years. Good luck!

Rhineland stops being demilitarized if you enter a war regardless how you do it (declare, join or get declared on). Also, fun fact, MEFO bills disappear only if you declare war. But not if you join war or if you're declared war on. I maintained MEFO bills until 1942 in one game:
Italy declared war on Yugoslavia, Yugoslavia joined the Allies and then I joined the war, since Italy was in the Axis. So I was at war, but still had the full power of MEFo bills. Unfortunately I was still a noob tho, so I couldn't bring the war to a victorious end, but controlling France and Britain and still having MEFO bills... That would be really OP.
The political power costs aren't that bad if you have Austria and Czechoslovakia and both silent workhorses and by 1939 pol power really stops being an issue.

However, your national focuses and pop-up decisions are determined by a dice roll. Count all the options, and then roll!
Example: at the start of the game you have the 6 national focuses to pick from, and you roll a three, then you have to do a improve railway network.

They tend to cram into 1 air base, which makes the planes useless
Sometimes I see planes base themselves in airfields out of range from the battle, despite there being a vacant airfield near the frontline. As with everything else new in waking the tiger it's broken.

Hang on. Rheinland militarizes after a war is started. Hindenburg survives if at war until 1938ish. He declares two wars at the beginning. Aren't the two simultaneously completable?

What, not the exploit where you get super divisions at the beginning of the civil war? I LOVE that exploit. It makes the civil war easier and makes up for not be able to send the troops out to sea anymore.
