As far as I know, the design has not changed since 1990, so I would assume the ones made today would function the same, but I have never seen a new one, so I don't know for sure.

I'm reading all about them and my brother has ordered me a new one to see if I want to commit to a old one lol I haven't seen one in real life before so I'm pretty excited. The video of the new one seems to have either a faster movement or the eyes move further to the left and right more . Ha well I'm still jealous of your 1990s one ! 😀😀😀
Hi I love your clock I kind if collect them, but your clock is not working properly it should have way more swing and eye movement. I will try to post a video. I am thinking your batteries are done or it needs cleaned.
Thanks for the info. I didn't know how much they eyes typically move. I sell on eBay, and on pieces with moving parts I always try to post a video so buyers know exactly what to expect.

This isn't from the 1950s. The Kit Cat wordmark stated appearing on the clocks by 1982.
Do you think the old kit Kat s eyes move slower than the new ones ?

Is this electric or battery operated?
This one is battery operated. The older ones from the 1930s plugged into a wall outlet.
This one was made after 82, then they began putting the Kit Cat name on the front. They also didn't make them battery operated until the 90's.
