Enjoyed that. My daughter’s first new car was a 1.6 Mini One, when she was choosing it I asked what colour she’d like, answer was British Racing Green - very proud dad moment 👍

I’m glad you enjoyed that Meeting despite the horrible weather...why was all the good weather here when we could not go out?? 😨. Yesss..I just could not deal with that exhaust and it puzzles me that Tim/Schmee finds it such a thrill...they would drive me mad! 😬😀😀 I fear the Meet is just too far away from me at about 170 miles each way but it will be good to see the video of it afterwards! Safe driving Peter..hopefully the dry roads are not quite gone for the year. 😀😀😀😀

Having never in my life sat in a Mini or driven one I must admit I've looked at some Cooper and Works specials ,,and fancy having a go today's video enforced it to me I think we forget in the world of high performance cars how good a little mini is and how long it's been in it build form And some of the beautiful examples you have today in this again I've got to say well presented CZcams video I was thinking of getting a kit car in years to come but maybe a John Cooper Works special could work for me and specially the old woman if she can't go shopping in it he they no good to us I was thinking a building a kit car with a passenger ejection seat in it it just for the dear wife once again bod you take the age of furlough always love looking at your videos keep up the good work mate 8u chair in the country up

Had a look on the map to see where this is. Only 460 miles away might be a stretch but if furlough continues at least my weekends are free. Might stay with little sis in London the night before. Looks really good. Will look out for the date of the meet & greet.

Anti-lag on a 90s rally car was cool - misfiring MINI not so much 😂

Really wanted to come to this but had to work and then decided to de chrome my beltline which still needs some work im trying to get bits finished/ordered ready for the next car meet down in Crawley/Hastings went to the beachy head meet as my first Mini meet and I feel in love I will start to try and go to more its a lovely atmosphere

Eyup Ped. Last Sunday we went on a club run (LincolnshireMiniOwners) and my dear husband washed and polished my car in the morning... I drove through the Lincolnshire Wolds and the heavens opened. It was torrential, with lightning... top speed was 20mph for ages.

It’s called Murphy’s law when you spend hours and hours washing your car only to find when you drive it rains!! These things happen, but at least it was clean before you set off. Are you sure you can replace that wiper blade successfully on your own 🤣🤣. I’m looking forward to this car meet you are planning. It’s going to be a long drive for me some 2+ hours but I’m sure it will be worth it and you’ll be able to see my mint GTi that was featured in one of your carvid-19 videos. Great video. Drive safe.

I think it's great that the modern MINIs are very much like the classics - you are unlikely to see two the same due to the huge number of mods available.

Could get roasted for this but not a modern mini fan. However the detail & spec of some of those minis were awesome. My favourite has to be the rat rod next to Ruby. Carry on with the cracking uploads

Several times I have spent many hours preparing my car for a car event and then on the way there....it rains. REALLY rains to the point that when I arrived it looked like I hadn't washed or waxed the car in months. I'm embarrassed to say just how incredibly mad and upset I got. Aarrgghhh!!!!!!!!

I didn`t know there were so many types of minis till today, the one with the Lambo style doors was very special, must have had a lot of modification to achieve that configuration and the balance would have been difficult I feel, good though. So Pete good meet and we saw how much you enjoy these venues so roll on the next one.
