What a day when ‪@rioferdinandpresents‬ and the Rio Ferdinand Foundation rolled into Sligo for a match .
Who can say that they seen Rio play in The Showgrounds. Sadly not with a Sligo Rovers jersey.
The two teams played great football . Even the rain couldn’t dampen the skill on display .
The game finished up 4-3 in favour of Rio’s team v a team from the I.F.I. Managed by ‪@OfficialSV2‬

In the 90th minute would you believe a penalty awarded for the I.FI. To level the game at 4-4.
It was missed . Keeper v keeper in the shootout to draw the game.
Big shout out to ‪@ShaneFilanOfficial‬ from the band Westlife who stopped for a picture with Erik . It’s true what they say “Sligo lads are the soundest”.
