    Agreed with the assessment. Been said oodles of times, but so many fans, myself among them, are queer neurodivergents. All of the angels and demons, not just Crowley and Aziraphale, outside of being gender clueless/ambiguous, have so many ND traits so it only makes sense. Aziraphale feels so comfortable with Crowley in so many ways, despite the massive discomfort of feeling that they are "on opposite sides," but also, very autistically, Azi tends to have no idea what feelings he is feeling. Crowley really is a constant for Aziraphale and, as you said, with sensory issues and being prone to overwhelm, that constant anchor of security is something Azi could never function without.
