Does studio headphones work good for siege? I heard it makes it harder to hear things like footsteps. What has been your experience with the Beyerdynamic DTs ?

I have no problems hearing sounds, siege does a good try at making sound queues weird to read though sometimes. But from my experience they’ve treated me well for gaming. Sometimes can feel a little quiet but that’s because I don’t run them through an amp, just into my audio interface.
But I’ve played since year 1 so I can know sound directions from hearing even the ground surface they’re walking on, so changing my headphones wouldn’t really make a difference.
I wouldn’t recommend studio headphones just for gaming though, you’d have a similar / good experience with normal ‘gaming’ headsets, I can recommend hyper X cloud 2’s

@@fxrshaw Hm okay, I see. I do agree that you dont need studio headphones for gaming but I make music and mix vocals a lot so I'll probably get a pair of studio headphones for a more "natural" or "flat" sound when it comes to mixing stuff. Thanks for inputting your experience since I dont know how it'd compare to my current Asto A10's.

Rainbow six siege is in a dying state for pc but for console I think the game is fine and has potential

Console has the problem of MnK ruining the game, but that’s still somewhat playable against, so I agree. I’m gonna have to play more console.
