THIS is what hello neighbor should've done, darker tone, creepier aesthetic, and the good animation. The animations in the full game are GOOD, but for the neighbor... they dont fit, (for me at least) this alpha is better then the game in some or most ways! This is all my opinion of course so take what i say with a grain of salt

I loved the direction of the Prototype and Alpha 1, even though this game was when they shifted the style from realistic to much more cartoony, I still prefer it like this. It was much more suspenseful and felt a lot more stressful.

@@koroallie5583 mr peterson (aka the neighbor) had lived a happy life back then, everything was fine for him until he and his wife got into a tragic car crash, he survived but his wife didn’t, he got depressed, he also had kids, after they heard their mom died they also got depressed, but one of the children in mr peterson’s family couldn’t handle the bad news too well, everyday the kid’s depression grew stronger each day, until one day his depression took over his body, and pushed the other kid off their house’s rooftop and unfortunately the other kid died, mr Peterson got even more depressed, now of course, hello neighbor begins, also the kid who is locked in mr peterson’s basement is the kid who pushed off the other kid down the rooftop, there’s the full lore I think
