I really liked Zin’s point about drawing the line between keeping talent and entertainment in the league. These new gen pros are like completely disconnected from fans and the community, most new pros don’t stream or talk to anyone and it sucks. In the old days, everyone knew eachother and pros played 10 hours of 8’s every night and all of them streamed and really helped create the community we have. Now, with franchising, teams have to decide what’s gonna make the most money for them. It’s weird how we worked so hard for the scene to get bigger but now kinda wish it was the way it used to be.
Really wish the league allowed for a more robust academy system because an academy OpTic making content would be helping the community

Yea I do wish these new pros did this but it’s unfair to ask them to do this when other esport pros don’t have to do it and there games are still getting viewers ex (Rocket leauge, LoL, Valorant) very few pros on those games stream/make content and still achieve those insane views.
There’s no personalities coming through. CDL could die viewer wise when Crim, Clay and Scump are gone.

I feel like Methodz is always going to have a spot on OpTic when the time comes again. Filled the seat once in 2018, but I'm sure that seat is waiting for him to come back.
This type of content is massive for the eSports scene.
Methodz explaining how those were the best times of his life hit different. I remember rushing home from school turning on my system and waiting 30 seconds tops to get that invite to a party, getting that GB and grinding until my mom screamed at me to go to bed. Spend all day at school thinking about that 1v3 I choked waiting for school to end and do it all over again. Life was good man, we were having so much fun and didn't even know it.
Your guys production and insight into the industry is 5 years ahead of anyone else trying to do this y’all got something special keep at it.

Favorite video series I've seen from OpTic recently. This episode had me feeling all the emotions. I was debating life. Recalling memories. Sad about nostalgia. Thinking about the future of my personal life. I'm 27 years old now, have a job, same HS friends, still playing Call of Duty and Halo, enjoy golfing, working out, I'm married, and so on. Look back and be happy we had our past, but also Gotta be in the moment and enjoy what we have right now. My Gaming friends rarely get on as much anymore, but I'm happy with the times I've had. Looking forward to all the future Memories I'll make as well.
Like Nard Dog Andy said in the show The Office, "I wish there was a way to know you're in the good ol days, before you've left them."

Despite how long we've been watching these guys and how closely we've followed them, it always seems like there's a little more they can show by pulling back the curtain and giving these little insights. We all grew up around the same time and bo2 started the RISE of comp cod and that’s what WE ALL are chasing so it will never reach our expectations. We just need to be happy we get a game every year other then these other games like Halo, Valorant,LOL and so on they don’t ever come out with new games
When they talk about the past man just reminds that this is the only thing that I kept with with since I was 17 was Optic. 11 years later and I'm still here, married, kids and all. Living life and telling my kids were a Optic fam.
