Jake's rocking my world with that beautiful mind of his. It wasn't until I grew up emotionally that I was able to truly appreciate his craft; now that I'm nearing my 30's I'm in so much awe of him and the work he does. Honestly a little annoyed I didn't realize sooner how skilled he is. I would have been happy if this video went on for another 50 min; he has such profoundly truthful things to say about the human psyche and the processes behind filmmaking, acting and simple movie watching. Ugh, he's just brilliant.

I love latest Gyllenhaal movies for so many reasons and I think the latest is the best, but I know that's not going to be the end, so I am thrilled to see what's coming next. And I think he puts more of him into the character he plays than he actually admits, but as he says that might be the role of the director, i don't know. But Demolition is really powerful movie, specially if you can hook up with the story/character. So, in order to like the move, one needs to posses the ability of opening himself to those kind of experiences or to have experienced them on their own. Happily, we are all human beings...
