This is a heavy damage dealer. Of note, before this fully comes “online” with the hound of ill omen, this character can utilize the darkness advantage trick without dipping warlock by spending 2 sorcery points. Obviously there’s some drawbacks but in certain situations this will help get off advantage attacks/smites.
You also pointed out something I never realized… more than one hound can be summoned! Incredible!!
For practical advice, I’d probably take res (con) at Sorc 4 and shadow touched at 8.

oh nice, been playing shadow sorcerer harengon from 1-9 so far, its a total blast
