It's a Good Thing to Wake Up, to be Transformed, but the road is not always an easy one. At first you might not even realize what's happening. Your road could be so hard that you can't imagine that it's ultimately a good thing. The cleansing or purification process is meant to bring us back to who we truly are, a pure soul and spirit. It's not a woo woo thing, it's a true spiritual process that is preparing and readying us for liberation, to free us from the pain and falseness that has been accumulated over lifetimes.
It can be a hard process of transformation from thinking we're only human to knowing we are spirit, we are consciousness, we are one with All That Is. It can turn your life upside down. It can feel like you'll never make it through, BUT YOU WILL.
