I own this exact Radio for my 08 GMC Sierra 1500! Works really good and also noticed a better sound quality too & new turn signal click sound. Because mine is an 08’ GMC, one important note I noticed with mine, is after I shut off my vehicle, my radio drained my battery 🪫 since yes, there’s a radio setting that you have to change to terminate sleep mode. Go into the sleep settings and Shut off sleep mode, and you won’t drain your battery anymore when you shut off your vehicle. 🛻😁

I have this same radio installed in a Chevy Tahoe when I turn on the redio I get sound but when I connect to Bluetooth I have no sound do u know what the problem can be
I'm not sure. Have you tried restarting the phone and or resetting the radio? Also make sure another device isn't connected to the radio. I hope this helps

Would the back up camera option work with the stock camera on my 08 tahoe?
I am unsure of that. If the connector is an audio style plug then it might work

That I am unsure of due to me not having the controls on mine. I can try to find the booklet and look it up

I'm not sure to be honest. I never used the screen mirroring but my truck got totaled a couple months ago and the unit isn't hooked up to give you an accurate answer

I was until a tundra ran a red light and totaled my truck. It's been a great radio

I used the one rhat came with the radio
I think this is a 8" screen i can even find a 11" for this and the link is expired plus a 10" i seen is bigger than this i think hes mistaken it look great though
This is a 8 inch screen. Android 11. I'm not sure they make these units anymore. Will have to search for the latest android in 8 inch
My CarPlay won’t connect wired, any idea why?

Does it work with steering wheel control?
I am not 100 sure but I think I remember a different installation setup for steering wheel controls. Mine doesn't have that option so I went the other route. It should say in the product description. I'm not sure where the manual is or I would look it up

I am not sure to be honest. This unit was android 11 and I looked on Amazon and they are up to android 13 now. Have you tried typing in android 11 eonon then your vehicle make? That's what I had done. I read reviews and read comments that it fit my truck. I would spring for the android 13 if this one had issues but it still works great

Anyone else notice rear speakers don’t work
I just checked and mine are working. It's not faded to the front speakers in the settings is it?
@@BeardsAndBowsOutdoors nope a little wierd this is the second radio I buy and does the same on diff trucks
I'll note that and in the future, I will tell others that it's a possibility the rears won't work. I never checked the rear speakers after the install so I was curious myself. 🙌👊
Your wiring is off, the stereo comes wired for the gmts with the Bose audio system. Disconnect the amp control wires and your rear speakers should work. These android radios are all similar and use same connectors

Unfortunately I never downloaded the app so I don't have any helpful insight on that
