- A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched 51 Starlink satellites from California's Vandenberg Space Force Base on May 10, 2023. The first stage of the rocket landed on the "Of Course I Still Love You" drone ship in the Pacific Ocean several minutes after separation. Full Story: www.space.com/spacex-starlink...

Still amazes me that they can put a booster down on a barge!
And soft enough not to sink it.
This launch seemed faster than others. I’ve watched most of them from my backyard and this one seemed to head down range sooner and it covered the distance from Vandenberg to over my house much quicker than usual.
Not sure why 🤷🏻♂️.
It was another great launch!
These landings are so cool to watch. Brilliant
Fascinating stuff... Here I sit in my shop watching all this cool stuff on a computer that fits in my pocket... When my parents were my age this was only stuff of science fiction. 😱
I think what amazes me most is how they can bring the first stage back from space and land it perfectly on a barge out in the vast expanse of the ocean.
I’ve thought the same thing. What’s it going to be like in 20 more years 😂 definitely neat stuff.
Yeah, fascinating, it is called ..........TECH NO LOGY
@@llewellynlombard7428 or ballz.
15 inches off centre, from the edge of the atmosphere, astonishing
Super cool video thanks for sharing it 🎉.
AMAZING !!!
Excellent amazing
Mighty fine launch and orbit there, boys and girls.
Never gets old. Buck Rogers.
Where did it land? Is it off the California coast?
because pgehas "pge wiring errors" on youtube , will a screech be heard at 2 minutes?
👍👍👍
are earthquake waves are possible at t 2 minutes from 110 miles away?
No
Did they launch to the west out of Vandenberg???
that first stage landing... 50 km's up and still doing 7000km/h and no drag??
It seems like these guys are launching a new rocket like once a week is that really the case? I keep surfing CZcams and I see all these launches and I’m not sure if they’re like legitimately new ones every week?WTF👊🏽🤙🏽🤘🏽
I love you Elon !!
Perfecto................😁
👍
Oh my, how we have polluted the space around our beautiful planet.🇦🇺🙏👍
Thanks to this "pollution" you're able to write a stupid comment here in CZcams
Cry.
Is that also powered with raptor 2 engine?
Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy use Merlin 1D. It's a kerosene-oxygen gas generator cycle (as opposed to Raptor's much more complicated and experimental full-flow staged combustion cycle), and currently holds the record for the highest thrust-to-weight ratio of any rocket engine. It's not as efficient or sophisticated as Raptor, but is still a very good engine in it's own right, and has proven to be a reliable workhorse for the Falcon fleet.
