1 - Many drivers are entirely ignorant to the rules regarding motorcycles... splitting, reds, riding double, etc 2 - A lot of riders are actually idiots and will put others at risk. (Not saying that's the case here)
Yeah I don’t get it, it seems like they’re just trying to turn left, not even splitting. Maybe the driver is mad the rider got over a little late? But that could also happen with a car so idk what the big deal is
It's an annoying psychological effect. When you drive a car the vehicle becomes an extension of your personal space (kinesthetia/proprioception is the sense that is responsible). Thus any kind of real or perceived infringement is more personal. It's not as strong if you're not fully enclosed, thus less of a deal with bikers.

The motorcycle was ALREADY in the same lane as her and THEN she chose to speed up, rather than just let it be. If she had injured the person on the motorcycle, it would still be her fault because she could’ve easily prevented an accident from occurring by just allowing the bike to go in front of her. As a rule for myself I give bikers more room than I do for a car, because size differences can make them appear faster or slower than other traffic. The same applies to 18 wheelers. Also, if a biker falls they have no protection from being run over if I'm too close. Drive defensively!
Same. I give cars or suvs less distance than I do motor bikes simply because I know they don't have the comfort of a crumple zone. If you want to protect yourself as a driver, protect everyone else.
As a rider, thank you for being an exemplary driver! Riders should be riding defensively as well - never sit in a blind spot, don't ride beside a car if possible, sit in a visible spot in the lane (usually RHS), and always check cross-street traffic.
Thank you. My brother and dad are avid bikers and spend the entire weekend riding around our state. It is always best to air on the side of caution around bikers giving them enough room all the way around
That rev was assault. And then the vandalism. And the crossing the solid white line. She and her people literally did everything wrong. This is why people dont respect bikers. Bruh she’s so proud of herself, she’s the problem and was so happy to validate her own feelings. Your whole group handled that better than I would’ve tbh. And hitting the mirror to fold it was nice I personally might’ve ripped it off.
Tbh I actually agree with the woman in the car, I don’t know if you live in a different country or whatever but a solid white line means lane changes are discouraged and probably for a reason, when the biker crossed that line she basically put other drivers around her in danger and if an accident would’ve occurred while she was changing lanes she would’ve been held accountable and her friend hitting her mirror would’ve been a misdemeanor
Lol. It doesn't matter, you can't just rub your bumper up on someone because they crossed a white line. That's pathetic energy to think that way. @@senpaioffakku2773
Yes the bikers shouldn’t have crossed the solid line but also you’re supposed to give a motorcycle as much room as a car so she’s also at fault. Arguably more so.
@@ochunga1692 maybe you’re correct depends on state but still there is a difference between a broken white line, a dotted white line and a constant solid white line which on the books states that we should not cross a solid white line!
Nobody in the comments noticed, but you did cross the solid line which indicates you can't change lanes at that point. You could've been cited for an improper lane change, blinker and space or not. Also, remember that "space" doesn't just mean enough space to squeeze in. It means making the lane change with enough space in front of you and without compromising the following distance of the vehicle you're moving in front of. Also, you and another rider are stopped ahead of the "stop here" line. The crosswalk isn't the "stop here" line, it's the solid line before the crosswalk lines. That's true regardless of whether lane splitting is legal. Technically, this is a "failure to stop" at the intersection citation for not stopping before the line. Then, while trying to lane split, you end up to the right of the left turn lane delineation in the "go straight only" lane. If you make the left turn that it appears you want to, you're up for another citation for turning from the wrong lane. Sure, I get it. Most people don't care about actually sensible, safe and defensive driving or understanding what all the various traffic control devices mean and just want to drive around and have fun and stuff. But, if you're going to post a video critiquing some other driver, make sure you're also doing everything correctly.
Didn’t we all learn this at age 15/16 in drivers’ ed? I’m shocked. Edit: everyone who’s saying that she crossed the white line illegally, sure yes that’s true, I admit that. But also, people do stuff like this ALL THE TIME and part of being a good driver is to prepare yourself for unexpected situations and prevent harm to yourself and others. This lady did NOT do that. The motorcycle was ALREADY in the same lane as her and THEN she chose to speed up, rather than just let it be. If she had injured the person on the motorcycle, it would still be her fault because she could’ve easily prevented an accident from occurring by just allowing the bike to go in front of her. There was A LOT of room for the bike, and the car purposefully chose to get all up close and personal with the motorcycle when she could’ve just let it be, and that’s the issue here!
Well because technically they weren’t allowed to change lanes at that time
@ItsNahni she started merging before the unbroken line. Regardless, the car driver was in the wrong because she(?) was behind, and should be driving with due care and attention to avoid collisions, not speeding up and sitting inches off the bike.

Same. I give cars or suvs less distance than I do motor bikes simply because I know they don't have the comfort of a crumple zone. If you want to protect yourself as a driver, protect everyone else.

As a Floridian, I’ll step up and say that we do not claim her.
She runs like a soccer mom trying to record her kids. But the mom recording her kids is actually fun
She committed attempted vehicular manslaughter, verified it as hate related, and proceeded to harass the intended victims.
If this lady comes into your stations to report, there's the charges to arrest and prosecute.
Manslaughter AND a hate crime? Just when you thought you heard the dumbest thing, you manage to up the ante. Hate crime.😂😂😂
No she didn’t. Quit overreacting.
She didnt but if he had said risking and put some of it into context it might make sense, because worst case scenario biker dead, cause thats no way to act around someone who never had the option for a seatbelt@VitotheKenobi
@@VitotheKenobi the video clearly shows deliberate contact, followed by vulgarity towards a demographic, and acquisition of information for fraudulent claims.
@@Darksilverjesse “attempted” and “manslaughter” are oxymorons. You can’t attempt to commit manslaughter. Manslaughter by definition is an action that unintentionally causes a death.
Time to call the cops about an attempted vehicular manslaughter
The whole thing is a little messed up, and the problem was no one was gracious. She moved over when the line said not to move over, granted, most people would understand she was trying to get in, and she got in when it was safest. The other person shouldn’t have physically attacked her car. But she shouldn’t have gotten so close, but she could argue she didn’t realize the motorcycles there at first because they were in her Blindspot, but it’s clear that she eventually didn’t realize it because she didn’t back off. The whole thing was people miss handling the situation. If motorcycles, a little late in getting over, because they’re trying to be safe, you should be gracious towards them. As the video shows it just kept getting escalated when it didn’t have to. 🤷🏽♀️ it wasn’t the person on the motorcycle, who is being attacked that escalated it though, but it was their friend that hit the persons vehicle only making things worse for all three involved if the judge has to look at what the laws say on this one. They did something illegal too is never something that helps you avoid trouble by the courts if you did do something illegal before or after.
@@SRose-vp6ewyou can cross a single white line. You can’t cross a double white line.
@@KevinKevinKevinKevinKevinKevin Finally someone that got this right 😭😭
Yall real dumb... you can only cross a solid white line to avoid an obstacle, not because you failed to change lanes appropriately.
If that's attempted vehicular manslaughter, then that punch was sexual assault.

Yeah, your friend is really preaching that "no room for hate here" mantra...
