Well said
😎
Agreed
So true. Though I thought there was no movie I wanted to see that I had not seen. Where has this series been since the 1940s?
@@jacquelinejanz5792 Makes no sense.
I feel so comforted watching these black & white movies! 😮😊❤
I watched Lloyd Bridges faithfully every Friday in“ Sea Hunt”. We were allowed to stay up until 9:00 PM as a special treat to watch it!
I love to see what people wore (those marvelous hats!) and how the houses were furnished, especially those old kitchens, and the wonderful cars, trucks and trains.. And, the stories are good, too.
That's some of the best reasons for watching these old movies. Seeing what life was like in the time of the movie.
Love the hats. Gloves. Old phones. Furniture and a walk back in history. 75 years ago! Lovely.
You can't beat a good old fashioned black and white film with the talent they had thanks
Very true
I completely agree….
WOW..Lloyd Bridges. Simply amazing in that he's soooo young. I am surely enjoying these ol' flicks. Brings comfort & ease. I need that especially in this day & age!😷
Thank yall much for running all these oldie goldies tonight☺😅😍😮
U r so CORRECT!
I forgot that Lloyd Bridges was a dramatic actor in his youth. In his later years, he was hilarious in comedies: Airplane, Hot Shots, Mafia!
It is cool to see Lloyd Bridges in this episode. My dad and I were fans of the Series "Sea Hunt" I was only eight when it was broadcast in black and white at least on our tv. The show inspired my dad to get involved in scuba diving. He trained in one of the schools that associated with Mr. Bridges. My dad went on to do several excursions one he loved to tell about in Catalina . He also became involved with local police in searching for bodies in old mineshafts.
Thankyou for putting these amazing films on.better than any films today
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great to see these characters in their young selves. The character of Jimmy Trotter here is played by a young Lloyd Bridges the father of Beau and Jeff Bridges, who are both movie stars in Hollywood as their father was in his time, a true gentleman, loving husband, and father to his children. Great movie..thank you for posting.
I thought that was Lloyd Bridges! I didn't see his name in the opening credits, will have to go back and look. Thanks for letting me know I'm not seeing things.
@@debbiewilck3076... join the rest of us. Welcome!
I like the older model cars.
SEAHUNT...ON TV for years
So many twists and turns I forget who was real killer! VERY imaginative of the writer, not to mention nice acting!
I absolutely love old movies! These were from before my time but both my father and my brother were very fond of mysteries and thrillers and I watched along with them, having usually fallen asleep only halfway through. This was considered an old movie by the time I would have first seen it, yet it is old, still, today. They certainly don't make them like they used to.
Luv Classic Films!
Classic film sounds so much better!
Fresh meat
@@MichaelGunner123 agreed!
Had no idea about this crime solver. Love the oldies!
Enjoyed it however old it is. The best part is going back in time and seeing the scenery and the furnishings. Really very elegant.
I love the clothes, furniture, and scenery. It seems so simple
A film NEVER seen is still a NEW film! Just quoting the great Lauren Bacall.
@Lavonia Frates Wldn't boast about intruding on someone else's privacy.
@@MichaelGunner123 : Yes, and at my old age and memory problems, an old film SEEN is always a NEW film.
@@anonymousjohnson976 Good one!
Warner Baxter radiates a natural dignity. No pomposity, nothing fake or ulterior. The dignity of a good man with self-governance. There were many such through the end of the 1950s, and then there was a general, steady moral decline until we have the average self-serving man of today - not the kind you can trust an inch.
This is one of the best performances I've ever seen from Lloyd Brigges.
"Practice limited to Psychatry?" Painted on his door? Please explain that someone.
This was sooo good!! Thank you DDC!
Thank you for keeping these wonderful old Gems alive , by posting and sharing so MENY thanks ! ❤️🇨🇦
Never posting anything
Had no idea Crime Doctor made so many movies. Thanks for putting them out for us to enjoy.
I looked it up. I think there were 10 from 1943-1949.
Unfortunately, very few. I loved them and the radio dramas-again, only a few. I wish there were more!
I am on about 5! Loving them!
@@sueferris3685 thanks

I am an advid black and white movie lover but never heard of these.
So far I've watched the first one and thoroughly enjoyed it, I intend to watch all 10.
I’m watching these for the first time, I’d never even heard of them until today, so glad I found them I’m really enjoying them.
Fantastic clarity with these movies
Alwayd as pleasure
Great the way they dressed. Just classy & beautiful. 👍🏻
"Look around, if you see a body, you can have it!"
"Thanks, we'll take yours."
Lol. They just can't make good films like this now days.
Enjoyed it so much - thanks!
I laughed out loud at this exchange, for sure
What a terrific old movie!
Loved this movie. Love mysteries and old movies.
what a great old film. good print good sound , excellent script and cast. most enjoyable, thank you for posting it. 🥂
I really appreciate these movies, good, clean, Interesting.
The now nearly-forgotten Warner Baxter was a very good actor
Forgotten for sure. Doubt 1/5 could remember.
Not totally forgotten thanks to DDC and CZcams. New fans can now find these forgotten films.
Oh, my goodness!!! There's Lloyd Bridges!! That was a nice surprise!!
Loved, loved, loved this. I think this is one of my favourite films. So much intrigue, action, twists and turns. How come have I never heard of seen of these films before? Thank you for downloading. I cannot wait to watch the others.
I hear U! I call these all my treasure trove, like my own lil' gold mine. I can relax, ease into it & go ahead on in!❤🤷😍
This is quite the movie here. Love all the old antique home furnishings, all thruout the house ... so stylish ... everything, from the drapes and carpeting, the fireplace, the bedrooms, the kitchen, the staircase, the doors, the walls, the bedspreads, etc etc etc. I love it, makes me feel right at home, so to speak 👍💙👍
I guess I'm not the only one that pays so much attention to the sets, fashion etc. LOL
I watch the Dr Blake Australian series and the Miss Fisher series - great cars and outstanding costumes Miss Fisher wears! Great acting
Nothing beats Poirot and miss Marple for the interior design and fashion
@@kathleencampbell2298 I love the original Ms Marple films made by MGM in the early 1960's! All 4 recently played in order on TCM.
drapes & carpeting?

Lol nevermind. It doesn't really sound like you're the type to notice, let alone appreciate such stylings anyway.
Twenty minutes in and I'm hooked on the Crime Doctor. It's been a long time since I saw a movie with Lloyd Bridges in it. Thank you for showing this.
A young Lloyd Bridges.I remember him in Sea Hunt 1950s
Jerome Cowan cracks me up in this. I love all the Crime Doctor films. Thanks so much.
Spiritual, Inteligent, Cinematic. Masterpiece! Thank YOU!
Warner Baxter is charming in a down to earth way. Thanks, very fun film. :)
I love all these B&W old crime drama movies. the only problem I have is when they have scenes in the dark, "I can't see nothing!" I have a lamp on the other side of the room in order to see them.
A good movie and good acting too. Mr Baxter is at his professional best always. Like to see these good black and white movies with its mystic charm around.
Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy schedule to provide great wholesome (just murder no swearing, skimpiness), entertainment.
Well said!!!!!❤
This was an interesting plot, really kept the suspense and mystery brewing!! Such a young looking Lloyd Bridges!! Thank you,for showing this film!! Nancy,MO.
@mister kluge
Actually, for a short time period, Bridges was blacklisted in Hollywood, Sea Hunt would be a new start to his temporarily de-railed career. While he is famous for his role in AIRPLANE, his movie career was pretty much over by the early 50s...a true shame. He appeared in quite a few movies in the 40s, and I remember seeing him as a " bad guy " in some serial at the beginning of his career.
Love these old movies. They are not all messed up with sex, sex, sex and vulgarity language every other word. Just straight up who done it and catch them.
Great acting and story line.
Thank you for sharing
God bless
Thank you, D D, for putting these up for us. I had never heard of this collection of The Crime Doctor movies. I am really enjoying them...!!
This is the youngest I have seen Lloyd Bridges.
OMG!! yeah. oh WOW!!! I only ever knew him as the old guy on sea hunt!!! LOL! So how Old am I ??!!!!!!!!
I just couldn't remember his name. Then I found this. Thank you!
I recognized the voice. He is young there.
Looks like he choose the wrong week to quit smoking....drinking....
@@gayleandreah Me too! That was the first thing that indicated to me I knew him!
Lloyd Bridges and Warner Baxter were wonderful actors. Warner was very handsome
Yes. He was an actor my husband introduced me to years ago when we saw him as the angry producer in "Forty Second Street". (Look: you might find some of his scenes here on YT?) He was also The Cisco Kid in that series. He had great range. - I'm 68, and I married an older man: the generations prior to the 1960's produced a much different male of the species.. It was not uncommon to see men of Warner's ilk: self-possessed, well-worded, with a depth of emotion and intelligence we won't see again, I fear. (In women either.) - His generation that gave us the great men that fought the two World Wars and gave their lives in agonizing ways (you don't die like in the movies, friends - or worse, sometimes you don't die and live without a face...). We won't see bravery like that again. - But sorry, a "rant" Baxter was one fine fellow. No matinee beauty.
@@gailjarvis2592 you are absolutely correct! I long for the people of bygone times, when people had true heart, morals and values.
Have now watched seven of The Crime Doctor series and have enjoyed them all. In my opinion The Crime Doctor's Courage has been his strangest case up to now can't wait to see if there is a stranger one. Thanks for posting.
Never heard of The Crime Doctor. And what about Lloyd Bridges ?? He was just a baby...loved Sea Hunt !!
That was excellent! Thanks for uploading this gem!
I watched one episode by chance and I have been searching for any others that I can find. Very enjoyable, thanks for posting.
Love these movies! I've watched 3 today and enjoyed every minute. Hope there's a few more for tomorrow!
yes, Old is gold- simple but very good-acting is superb
Old is dead
Forget it
Love the old movies, the clothing, the cars, the dialog
Fabulous! Thank God for people like you that do all the hard work for us!! Have subscribed and now having a movie marathon!
Absolutely love the crime doctor movies. I watched them all. The first one was the best, but I always wondered where Mrs. Ordway went. They made a great couple. I think she would have been a perfect addition to the movies.
He ditched his old lady after getting his MD and started making all that big money.
That is a BEAUTIFUL mansion or is it a house? The way it is decorated and furnished is just fabulous! Comfy and elegant at the same time!
The cause of double suspicion surrounding Lloyd Bridges' character in this story is identical to that facing Margaret Lockwood's character in The Girl in the News (1940).
DD< Thanks for the great copy, crime dr was one of my favorite series, in the day, watched all of them several times...
I love all the crime doctor movies.
Wow, a very young Lloyd Bridges!💕
I once saw the original Crime Doctor movie and thought that it must have been a series but never tried hard enough to find it. Definitely enjoyed this "chapter". I did manage to figure out a few of the " side stories ", before they were revealed, but was almost sure the wife did it, I had forgotten about the brother.
Aw, you gave it away!
Forgotten
Mr. Flothow always produced nothing but the best. He would only produce what his heart told him, as well as his Grandmother Ida his mentor. Great production.
I like this series, a different type of crime movie.
A very clever story well acted and a great plot thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So many times lately 👍 clear print 🎥 we can watch😉
Lloyd Bridges had such beautiful hair.
So do his sons.
This certainly is an old movie. No doctor today would let the receptionist stay during a patient's interview.
I really enjoyed the show. That's a young Lloyd Bridges
Thank you so much. I've made this as a request couple of days ago to you, since it was not found anywhere else till you provided it.
Bless you sir and thanks again.🙏👍
excellent . a thoughtful script. we dont do that anymore .........
Always loved Lloyd Bridges-- he seemed so nice, and was very nice looking.
In one of his early roles, he played at" bad guy " in one of those serials you can see here on CZcams, from the early war years. He was a lackey of the big Nazi or Japanese spy...if I remember correctly.
Thank you for sharing this exciting movie!
I really enjoyed this film. It's a true whodunit, and there are lots of twists and turns.
I love Lloyd Bridges, I used to love watching him in the Sea Hunt series.
As "Mike Nelson", I believe.
thank`s DD another one just enjoyed, great film`s.
This was a really strange case to solve or try to understand, but good mystery to watch to see how it ends.
I got lost with all the characters and names early on. I had no idea what was happening by the time we were half way through.
It doesn’t END

Wow , this was pretty explicit for 1943. Loved the dream sequence.
Watching them in order. Thank you for the share!
Very enjoyable - l love old movies
I like watching The Crime Dr very much
It's strange to think that when this film was made that people who fought in the civil war could've still been alive.
The last person to receive a Civil War Veterans pension died last month June 2020. It was something like she was 16 and married a 99? year old Civil War vet. The story said it was actually common for those marriages, so a woman could have a pension in her later years.
I was born four years after this was made. Strange to think I'm that old.
