Kubota B2601 on a 6x12 PJ dump trailer - Will it fit?

Moving Kubota B2601 and a brush pile with a PJ Dump trailer and Land Pride root grapple. One of the many uses of a dump trailer is being able to transport equipment. A standard dump trailer is 7x14 but I have a mid-size 6x12 from PJ. It's a perfect size for a 1/2 ton truck but is limited when it comes to hauling equipment. A skid steer wouldn't fit, but it is just big enough to haul a Kubota B series tractor. It's not ideal, but it will fit.

Perfect fit! My b2601 lives in a 10x12 shed. I should have got a dump trailer.

You think it would fit the 5x10 and let the loader overhang towards the tailgate?

If I was in a bind and had to figure out a way to move it a short distance it might be possible, but I wouldn’t recommend planning for that as a long term solution. Good chance you’ll end up with not enough tongue weight, the loader will probably rub on the tailgate scratching everything up, having tie downs in the right places will be questionable, not to mention hanging the loader out the back will probably be frowned upon by the DOT if you’re worried about that. In terms of width In a 6’ theres barely enough room inside to get it secured so I don’t think it will be possible in a 5’. My advice is look for another trailer.

Add weight? The brush don't weigh that much

Compact tractors are worthless without rear ballast. With a 300 lb grapple plus working on a hill there is zero traction without weight. It’s always needed when working.

I think I would have dumped the bucket over the side of the Box rather than unhook the trailer

That would be quicker but a little sketchy. I’d rather take a few minutes and unhook rather than risk banging up my truck box.
