"We will abide by the ruling of the Supreme Court". I think DMCI is not as greedy and opportunist as how this hearing and these senators define them.

Wala pa namang desisyon ang supreme court. May motion pa ang DMCI. If in case matalo sila, definitely hindi nila papabayaan ang unit owners. They will be giving refund, baka nga i-200% pa nila yan.
DMCI filed an annotation in the title that the land is under litigation. The necessary permits and licenses were approved. They also made settlements with the complainants. So they proceed with the construction. If hindi man maging favorable sa DMCI ang desisyon ng Supreme Court, mas malaking loss ito at perwisyo para sa kanila.
Imagine DMCI buying the property (land alone) for 30.5M, plus the construction and operating expenses. DMCI ang talo sa kasong ito. While Rebueno, who only wants to get the amount of salary he was not able to receive, now wants the entire property awarded to him! Not making sense.
Ang may kasalanan yun nag approve and not the dmci. Gobyerno ang may kasalanan. Pag may approval meaning ok!
