  • Today I'll take you on a city ride and show you some tips and tricks on how to become a better rider. By no means do I proclaim myself a good rider, I am still learning and will always be learning, no matter how many km I have done and how many years I've ridden the Vespa. But, I'll share with you a bit of what I know.

    Brilliant video with excellent advice especially about thinking the worst. Never underestimate the stupidity of other drivers ! I couldn’t believe how bad the red light runner was 😶

    Nice video again. Would be nice if you would track a ride with Strava or so or show us the route you've ridden!

    Hello ! I lived in your country for 5 months this past year. There are some very beautiful places in Romania. I am always looking at where you are riding to see if I recognize any streets. ;-) I own a P200 (1982) with Bitubo suspension.. At 80 km/h+ it starts to get a little scary. What is the GTS 300 like at those speeds ? If the roads aren't perfect at that speed are you praying to your God of choice ?

      HAha nice! Hope you come back, if you do, let me know so we can have a ride. The GTS is very comfy at those speeds.

    Best not to ride in the dark patches of the road. Lots of debris, oil and grit there Best to ride on the car tire areas.

    Don’t you want a small windscreen on your Vespa?

      No… I only own the large one for trips and winter time.

    why are you always riding with the high beam on???

    • @catam696
      @catam696 Před rokem +1

      It helps the cars and others to see you better coming from behind and making space for you to pass. Especially when tailing between cars 😊
      And high beam during daytime is not killing vampires 😂

      For visibility reasons. At night I switch to normal.

    For all your safety advice why do you ride with no gloves and shorts?
