i bought astra pro theme do i need to install Astra Theme or child Astra Theme?
You have to use Astra theme as a theme and Astra pro is a plugin that you have to install it as a plugin from plugins directory. Child theme is a different things. You can use it as well.

WHY t fck do i need it!? why should i create one?
Why do i need a Child theme to upgrade to pro, ....cant upgrade from free to pro straight ...ned a child theme ...why ...n why no one from astra tell you about !!!!
I can understand how it feels to you 😅But child theme is not required to upgrade to the pro version. Its a good practice to use child theme because in the future if you want to add or extent the website functionality without using any third-party plugins then you can use child theme to inject your code. And there are so many other benefits in the long run!
Hi, I understand the $47 price for Astra Pro is for one year. If I don't renew it, can I continue to use it? If I continue to use, I guess, I may not be able to update it further. If that is the case, is there any problem to use pro without updating?
If you do not renew it then you can still use it. But can't update the pro version. However, if you want you can also purchase lifetime license.
