I think my biggest gripe with this bayonetta is that she's happily laughing and fighting like usual, but in a setting where millions of people are dying around her in a horrible tsunami. In 1 and 2 her opening fights really only concerned her own safety.
kinda late but in bayo 2 new york also gets destroyed and both bayo and jeanne don't really care

Except two didn't just concern her safety as the city and buildings were being destroyed
Yeah that was another thing that bugged me. Mostly it was her hair and witch outfit. I mean if they wanted this to land? Then do it in a game where she meets Rodin and Enzo for the first time! A sort of inbetween from "Ceraza & The lost demon" & "Bayonetta 1". They can still do the reveal of Viola being either Luka or Bayonetta's daughter form the future but hold off on the reveal of the other till the end. Or hell, have Viola be a result of Bayonetta 1 & 2 getting all screwy.
In Bayonetta 1 vigrid is destroyed (that dragon angel burns in and we have no idea if the people left before it filled everything with lava) there are also guards in the building at the end of the game
In Bayonetta 2 the island is destruyes by the Angels in search for Loki (in addition to Balder helping in the first fight with him)
This is tame compared to the other Bayonetta games

okay, lemme just say it. it's off-putting how optimistic and romantic the music is while billions of people and other life are dying, and Bayonetta is just laughing through this. she even smiles in that later chapter where she blasts armies with Gomorrah's giant laser. it's such a tonal whiplash too, from the overly optimistic and bright first two games, to this: the entire multiverse almost dying from a villain who's backstory you can only know about in journal entries you collect instead of it being shown in cutscenes, plus Bayonetta and her Variants dying because the plot needs them to.
the story seems hastily put together. at least the gameplay makes me forget just how bad it is.
Bro what are these awful graphics, we are not in the wii u, common nintendo the switch can do better, those graphics looks like a gamecube game please
Should probably get your eyes checked if you think this looks like a Gamecube game. The Gamecube/PS2/Xbox could never reach this level of graphical fidelity.
Plus, the game was developed by Platinum Games. Nintendo only published it.
LOl i think u need glasses with grade up to 100000000000. Bayo 3 was made by PG not Nintendo. They only supported it and published it. Do u think Nintendo has graphics like this? PG even had a hard time of producing the 2nd game
