  • The wooden huts of Edosan Ryokan are set right in Nara park, surrounded by nature (and sometimes by local, friendly deers). The experience of exclusivity is enhanced by the separation from other huts and guests, which allows for a total immersion in Japan’s tradition of hospitality. The excellent service and care, the special private bath, and the royal dinner served in carefully crafted episodes of textures and flavors make this experience complete and unforgettable!

@@TravellingSunglasses Cheers for your response, most unexpected. Your pieces are are sensitive, dead-on and cool. Very envious of your time in Japan. I studied ceramics and learned about the Bernard Leach, Shoji Hamada & Mashiko connection and that ceramcs are deeply embedded in their culture. I have yet to visit! I'm sure it is possible to spend many months there soaking up their city-scapes, activites, countryside and culture. Looking forward to catching up on your channel - wishing you many more safe travels
