Workshop on Anterior Composite Artistry for Alumni and Dental Students

The College of Dentistry, GMU organized a two-day workshop on anterior composite artistry on the 3rd and 4th of May 2023 in collaboration with Shofu, an international company from Japan focused on developing innovative dental products. The event was specifically conducted for alumni, and fourth and fifth-year dental students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance possessing high cumulative grade point average and have been actively involved in college committees. The aim of the workshop was to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their dental practice.
The two day event included lectures and extensive hands-on workshop by Dr.Ahmed Elsayed, Cosmetic Dentist, Egypt covering a range of topics; including class III and class IV restorations, direct veneers restoring shade, shape, function, finishing and polishing protocols, and clinical protocols. Participants were able to learn and put their skills to test through practical sessions.
The event was an excellent opportunity for alumni and dental students to enhance their skills and knowledge. They also appreciated the opportunity to network with fellow dental professionals and gain insights into the latest trends and techniques in anterior composite artistry.
