HOW TO MAKE A DIESEL TRUCK RIDE BETTER

- This time on Tow Tig Tech we are finally going to make our 6.7 Powerstroke F250 not ride like a log wagon with a little help from our friends at NCB Diesel and Carli Suspension. You've seen us do a lot of work to this truck over the years but a better riding suspension has always been on our list. Lucky for us we know one of the biggest stocking dealers and installers of Carli Suspension in the Country so naturally I made the 9 hour drive from Alabama to North Carolina to see owner Nate Blackwell at NCB Diesel and Offroad to get my old daily driver taken care of. We settled on the Carli Pin top kit that features King Shocks before checking a bunch of boxes for some really cool parts designed specifically for this truck. This includes some fabricated radius arms, racing sway bar, rear shackles, dual opposing steering stabilizers, and more. I was shocked at the improvement in ride quality that this suspension made to my truck. It now drives and rides better than brand new and I couldn't be happier with the results. Let us know what we should do to this truck next in the comments.

Monster trucks are so kool. 🔥. Looking awesome ❤
Thanks
37s would fit nicely with those new radius arms
Maybe some of those new KO3s
Where did they mount the rear shock remote reservoirs? I was expecting them to be on the outer frame for when people use the compression adjusters.
Can’t go wrong with a carli system 🤙🏼
That ford frame flex and body lines though 😂
I drive one too🤦
Yeah and I have the upgraded body bushings
Carli for the win 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 CJC is the biggest I’ve dealer I’ve heard. Definitely need 37s on it I’m running Carli with 37x12.5r17 no rubbing lock to lock.
Yeah some of the new KO3s might be on the way soon. 😬
Ha! I've known Nate since he was 15yrs old tearing stuff up on power line trails!!
He likes to get rowdy. Especially in that hellcat jeep. 😬
👍
👊
Steering stabilizers do not fix death wobble.
Ok they bandaid and prevent it as well as bump steer. I can’t be perfect with everything I say on the spot. 🤷♂️
8 grand for an add a pack lift is insane brother
It starts at $4250. I just added a lot of things like a $1800 sway bar 😂
How do your body mounts look?
They are S&B so perfect 👍
@BustedKnuckleVideo I need to do mine. I'm holding out for now. I want to modify my f250 but I need to ride in one with the carli system to really pull the trigger on it.
It’s a game changer for sure.
Superduty 👍🏻
FTW
Carli needs to help the 7.3 community!
they have kits for Excursions in those years so I don't see why they couldn't do trucks.
Carli does leaf springs for the older 7.3 excursions. You’re better off going with a full traction 4 link conversion kit with tuned Coilovers. It drastically improves the ride and drivability
The other big improvement comes from using the longer 2016 leaf springs with a front leaf bracket relocation. I’m using the carli 4.5” rear springs.
True we did a lot of cool stuff on the excursion build on our channel.
Your excursion is when I started watching what yall are up to. Excellent, content all around keep it up!
It's a pre runner now 😂
More of one that it was lol
You delete the cp4 yet?
not yet, just put a fresh one on with the turbo swap
Ram's come stock with coil springs 🤦🏻♂️
so do these...
Carli or NOTHING!
Facts
The best way to make a diesel truck ride better is to use it for the manufacturers intended purpose, which is hauling heavy loads.
Which is what we do with this truck. We don’t hurt its hauling ability at all just improved it. 👍
They don’t care about ride. All they care about is rolling coal and unnecessary prolonged idling so that everyone around knows it’s a diesel.
I know that I care about it. I am sure others do as well. Don't judge the entire diesel community over a few bad apples.

😂😂😂 at that point buy a new truck 14k for a lift kit is crazy
Starts at $4k, mine was around $8k. A new truck like this would cost me $100k. Your math ain’t mathing. 😬
How to make it ride better, just spend 10k on suspension parts lol
8k but yep 👍
