  • Welcome to Porto, the vibrant and historic city that beautifully straddles the Douro River. Whether you’re a lover of rich culture, stunning architecture, or delectable cuisine, Porto offers a mesmerizing blend of old-world charm and contemporary allure. As you wander through its narrow cobbled streets, you’ll encounter breathtaking views, world-renowned port wine cellars, and the warm hospitality of the Portuguese people.
From the iconic Dom Luís I Bridge to the intricate azulejos (decorative ceramic tiles) adorning many of the city’s buildings, Porto is a feast for the senses. Picture yourself sipping a glass of port wine while watching the sunset over the river, or getting lost in the medieval Ribeira district, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Whether it’s your first visit or a returning adventure, let’s delve into the magic that makes Porto an unforgettable experience.

Multiple views of the matched pair, but not necessary as the video is about the cities, as finally happened! Prosit!

7:10 - When you cross the D. Luis I bridge you're no longer in Porto, you're in Vila Nova de Gaia, a different city, municipality and county. All the Port wine cellars are located there, not in Porto.
