I own one of these 2008 carrera S.....at 3.50 minutes the advice about pressing on Porsche emblem is correct, but please note this. When I bgt mine the sales lady said to me “when you close the front hood, make sure to push on porcshe emblem” and I heard the opposite, “don’t press on it” so I would push on left and right of emblem. My mistake not hers. Why did she in the first place tell me this, seems like such a trivial point. Well over the yrs I noticed the curvature of the front of the hood was distorting and the emblem area was moving UP. When I see my car from the front, I alone see a small gap forming under emblem because the pressure moved the metal up in that exact area. That’s it that’s all, I’m not upset with Porsche , but it is a weakness and that is why the sales lady stressed that (casually ) the day I drove off. Greatest car ever, still own it.
