  • It's nice to look at the birds fly around throught the Plexiglass cage. Less messy, easy to mantain the cage clean. I put Hen Canary along with Cock European Goldfinch Finch to cross breed them.

That was awesome! I've been looking for ideas for my birds indoors. You did a great job. Cages for birds don't really have what I'm looking for and are too expensive for what they are. Thanks for the video.

Nice.... I see Qs about your birds flying into the plexiglass. I built my aviary from a hutch with the middle pane remaing as glass- but applied an anti-reflective polyester film to it. No Probs:) It also comes in vinyl and there are so many products on the market to protect our birdies- just ask at the hardware store.

Sam Mott PS, The hutch er now their aviary also had 2 small panes of glass, 1 on each side of the glass pane I talk of above. But for these smaller panes, I removed the glass alltogether, replacing it with chicken wire- so they can get fresh circulating air while letting me hear them singing, loud and clear:)

I love your design. I have a lovebird that plucks because he is bored, and can't fly. This would be great for him. Where did you find the mural and how do you clean the cage? is there a sliding tray??

You can also buy stick on things to put on the glass or mirrors so the birds won't fly into them. They're barely noticeable to us but they show up great to birds.
