Great video. Beautiful work. As a new potter in training, I'd also like a view of the tools you're using to throw and shape each piece.
❤❤❤❤
looks like watajima pottery. were you inspired by him? nice ramen bowls :-)
@@Professo_Saskia yes I was! I should have mentioned him in the description (will add) - he does Mishima so beautifully !
For the stamps and the trimming, did you do this same day?😊
@@lovejaycakes I usually wait until it is about halfway to leather hard (when the base can be trimmed), and depending on temperature it might take half a day or overnight until it can be stamped and the design cut in. Thanks for the question!!
@@feniaksfirings gotcha! I wanted to try out the stamps in open studio tomorrow but it might be too wet, but I’ll be there a few hours so maybe it’ll get a little hard ☺️ I love the bowls!!
Hi. Very very nice work. Just wonderful. I love it. So pratique. How much clay did you use on each bowl please?
@@feniaksfiringsmerci et quelles sont les dimensions largeur et hauteur car cela rétrécit à la cuisson. Merci
@@bcsvl0110 the bowls were about 9x18 cm when thrown and ended up 8x17 cm after firing and glazing. I am not great at making exact sizes though so there is some variation between the 3!
May I ask where you get the stamps or if you made them?
@@SaraNicholson-d2y I have made some (simple!) stamps, but the ones I used here were from a company called Relyef who 3D print a wide range of designs.
So Beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing. I look forward to watching your other videos.
Thank you so much!
