Beats&Wheels leaf dog was cool when he first came out, but to be honest, his music is always the same boom bap tracks. I think he needs to expirement a bit more as all his songs sound the same.
A good example is someone like Madlib or MF DOOM, over the years, they have really experimented and evolved as artists, for example Madlib actually started to expand into doing Jazz. Or DOOM kept switching up his rhyme schemes and production.

What makes Leaf Dog stand out for me is the way he puts his lyrics together. Most UK hip-hop is just mc's making every 3rd word rhyme using the same wack flow and tone all the time.
Leaf puts effort into the delivery and makes it sound like proper hip-hop....puts a UK twist on an early 90's US flow.
