@@riturajjha It's gone up $12 for a normal cinema and seating. In some places its $23.50 in standard for adults, standard cinema. $27 standard adult for IMAX & VMAX. I miss the $10 buck prices :(((

I loved the movie especially payakan wa an awsome creature and the way he deflected that harpune in that one shot was extremly badass i saw the Movie 2 times, will watch it a 3d and id watch it again and again it's a must see and must see in Cinemas.
Payakan was my favorite character.
The story's not perfect and yeah, it's full of the usual troupes and clichés, but its one of those rare stories that are enough to be carried by the vfx and cinematography. One word to describe the experience - _mesmerizing_ . ✨✨✨

Yes, they have been announced a few times already, and like the second film they have already changed a few times and will probably change a few more times before they finally come outZ. But we will see. I believe the current schedule has them set to come out every other year with the 3rd one coming out in December of 2024

@CityBeautifulAdventures Cameron said in an interview he just laughed when Disney used to announce the dates of Avatar 2. He doesn't care what they say. Cameron will finish it when he's good and ready.

Cameron may surpass Spielberg in terms of box office by the time he finishes his Avatar sequels.
But look at it this way...
He may earn "Most Successful Director of All Time Status" with just 11 films under his belt where Spielberg has directed 34 so far. Avatar 2 is only his 8th film.
But already Cameron is the 2nd most successful of all time with only a bit over $3 billion to go before overtaking Spielberg in the top spot!

I love when he said going back to the movies and that important to me that me to I love James Cameron I couldn’t agree more I love movies and shows and theatres and how the movie theatre experience is important and we should still have it and it be here forever cause yea people can watch at home but when u something alone a lot over and over without nobody and feel depressed and not surrounded around with passionate movie tv and geek pop culture fans u lose parts of yourself and I love what comic book movies series and geek pop culture and other parts of cinema gets people back to the movies and I love how he take back what he said and understand that they are more then what some people think and they are important for getting back to the movies plus this year I can’t wait for all the movies and series coming out cause we have a lot coming out

Avatar had a good story but certainly other directors could have done something similar. With Cameron it's all about money though, put in a lot of money and time and he believes it will be results.

This year, he has released a much better movie than the others at every single way. So, who cares about awards anymore? Every single award is politics and campaign these days.
Some of those other "awards movies" were really good, but I didn't love any of them. A filmmaker (Cameron) who has made a great, moving and honest film who has struggled for 7 years with executives, pandemic, studio change, massive Internet bullying & hate, suspicious boycott campaigns... for a project that has been in development for 10 years, which has been praised by many critics and which, on top of that, it's grossing billions, and they massively reward another filmmaker who all he does is talk dishonestly about himself and #Hollywood itself, or they preffer reward productions that don't make the slightest sense, or movies made to promote the American army??? Come on, guys!
Hope that this is not the end of #Hollywood , because I don't even give Hollywood more than 20 years of life making this kind of politics awards stuff. The #awards have become a putrid politics game where what matters are the campaigns and not the artists.

It should’ve won last night. I never understand how a movie like Fablemans can win when nobody watched it. 40mill budget and only 16million made. What a flop. I was kinda disappointed with the story of Avatar 2 especially since the original was so tight and emotional in terms of story and pacing, was beautiful tho.

I agree. The first had a better story structure. Plus there where some very weird conviniant moments that made me role my eyes. He could have litterly just made the movie about the water tribe and their conflict with the humans. Hunting jake made no sense to me.
@@pse2020 WITHOUT Jake's family and his history with Quarich you'd have to REBUILD tension and drama with NEW CHARACTERS. The movie was ALREADY 3 hours long.

I didnt say remove jake and his family. i liked that part of the story. i even loved the NAt geo documentary part alot, i wanted more. But they should have had another reason for them to travel to the water tribe.
A more peaceful reason. lets say sigourney weaver character felt compeled to travel they explore pandor as we do with them. and act 3 they find them self fighting with the water tribe. or something like that.

Dont get me wrong i still think its a very good movie. I saw it twice. And i am a bit tired of theme before realism or logic. Alot of times they have a scene that makes no sense just because it fits the theme/message of the movie.
@@pse2020 the water tribe didn't want to fight, they only went to fight when their kids were in danger and the whales got killed which was caused by quaritch, they were going after jake because his tribe was the one who fought the humans and jake has a huge advantage from being a human and soldier, so he is able to organize the na'vi and teach them about the technology and how to use weapons along with battle strategy, taking him out would take out the organization of the tribe since he was the leader

The first movie is really good and the second movie is twice as good not sure how anyone can say it was an ok or a bad movie I feel like peoples brains are slowly dying they all say every movie is mid and all new songs are mid and every thing new is mid not sure if it has to do with the movie making a ton of money people hate anything that makes money because they don’t get a cut of it, if you didn’t like this movie you either have no soul or you don’t like the fact that the ALIENS are blue and look like people (I’ve seen comments like that)
