    Another variant of the old classic Kate McLaren, this version with the jungle cock and green tail works year after year at Loch Leven . A simple fly but a must for wild brown trout.

    Thats a great fly Stevie. My boat partner and I had great sport on it last week on our local brown trout loch. Great wee beastie. Works well on the dropper with a small weighted tadpole on the point. Thanks for the tips.🎣👏👍

    Hi Stevie, subbed here now, very professionally done, looked at a few,really good, don't recognise many names now though, my wet cast was black and peacock spider,grouse and claret and a greenwell on the point never had many blanks, cheers Will.
