BUCS Super Rugby at the University of Nottingham

Nottingham were at home for their first BUCS Super Rugby match of the 2022/23 season. The newly promoted side faced a Leeds Beckett side who picked up 32 points last season (finishing 8th overall).
Paul Westgate's side took all 5 points following a fantastic display in front of a 1,200 strong crowd at Highfields. The Nottingham side scored twice in the final 5 minutes of the first half to enter the break narrowly in front. The Green and Gold didnt let up in the second half and registered a bonus point victory which saw them top the table after round 1.
