The 1st method is beautiful, but imo the second method looks more like acne than freckles.

I have over 100 acrylics ~ different make tho ~ they are all pigmented differently !

Yes. I apply blush, then the freckles. Sometimes I'm adding a spray layer between the two, sometimes not:)

I don't have any brown acrylic paint, but would using brown watercolor paint work?
Of course!:) And if you use watercolor paint, you can remove the unwanted freckles after they dried, so watercolor and gouache is better:) But at the time I made that video I had only acrylics.

@@unniedolls Ok, so I've painted him, and he looks amazing! This is probably something you already knew, but I found out that gently dabbing with a damp q-tip worked wonders for cleaning unwanted freckles out of his nostrils and off of his lips without damaging his face-up (I don't have any sealants lol).

Yes!:)
I usually use a water color pencil and dot all over the areas I want freckles on
I have also used that method at the beginning, but I think the result is not as natural like with these techniques:)
