So 2023 is really Tana’s year!!!! I feel like a proud parent or somethin!!! Lol The personal growth, maturity, self reflection and awareness are awesome to watch actively getting better and better over her career/life through content and videos etc. She was quite literally raised Via CZcams as a child, (not to mention her abusive toxic trauma riddled childhood) and we all tend to forget the girl is like 23 🚼👶🏼🍼I didn’t have any wisdom until like 30 and was raising 2 kids completely alone. And yes im old now. I’m 40 and have been a TANA STAN since my daughter was watching Tanas story times and introduced to her by sayin hey mom this girl reminds me of you if you was my all ge , next thing I know she’s talking about “efffed me with a toothbrush……A TOOTHBRUSH!!!!” 😆 omg I was like “WTF Aleah!? What are you even watching take your 12 yr old (at that time) ass out of this video!!! The reason I prefer non guest episodes is because I love when you talk about your lives with absolutely no filter and with someone who already knows you and can add to the same story. But you also have some banger guests (Tim Dillon was iconic).

An occasional guest is fine but the best part of the podcast is just you two chilling and talking about life - loved this episode !

tana, you absolutely deserve the apology. you called out a grown man for saying slurs and he combated that by calling you a hypocrite for videos of you at 14. he then went to your meet and greet, when you were practically a child, and purposefully scared you and got mostly praise for saying the same slurs as a grown man that you got “cancelled” for saying at 14. i will always maintain that this was a huge case of misogyny.

@@kiiiirbzzz In a way, it was internalized misogyny from idubbbz's wife who used him as a proxy for the original content cop. She was jealous Tana was famous. At the time she was very "anti-woke, anti-influencer, hated sexual women, extremely edgy, etc." There were plenty of men doing exaggerated storytimes but his wife disliked Tana especially because she was a young woman succeeding. His wife tried to do the exact same content as Tana, andshe was bitter she didn't get famous from it.

The way Tana is completely right about therapy!!! Bestie, your therapist does NOT have to be mentally ill to “understand you” they literally studied mental illness, it’s triggers, it’s reasons, and it’s effects for years in school to be able to diagnose and help treat you. Therapy is about working through stuff and on yourself not about bonding or relating. That is indeed what friends are for

@@rustyspoon2211 it's not their job to be relatable. and a bunch iof therapists who are good at their jobs pay for therapy or have a permannent mental issue. it depends on the illness and what their specialty is. someone with ocd with an ed specialty is likely going to be fine, for example. a good therapist is one who doesn't talk about themselves or try to be relatable in the sessions. a good therapist will never let you get to the point where you know anything.

If I go to a therapist seeking help abt my mental condition, why would I want to talk to someone who is suffering from that same thing I’m trying to escape from? Why would I choose that over someone who has no mental conditions and has studied my exact issues with a statistically more rational mind? I’m not saying that bc I have a mental illness I can’t think rationally but someone without mental illnesses will statistically be more rational than me, that’s just a fact

as a licensed therapist myself and someone who has suffered from anxiety and depression, most most clinicians i know and in the field have mental illness, it's quite common. In fact, most have their own therapists lol. It's actually encouraged as a therapist to go to therapy yourself. Therapy is very much both a combination of empathy and tools

Im still fighting to get a regular doctor (GP) as they all just keep saying they don’t have the expertise or don’t have the time for me BUT a random doctor just did some x rays on my neck & spine & blood work and was able to get me expedited to a neurologist!!! It’s in July!! So some progress has been made! Tbh if it wasn’t for TikTok the last year and the support from there, idk if I’d be able to keep going with this shit😭❤️ tysm😭

In a perfect world we'd have no discrimination, people wouldn't be labelled and segregated, everyone would be financially stable. Ultimately it did happen and people aren't perfect. iDubbbz might not've been 100% in the right but she ultimately deserved the criticism, which she admits, and has used it to better herself. That's all anyone can do at the end of the day.

I think that unless that's in your nature people don't understand.. I can't hold a grudge against people even when they've done vile things to me.. and then people will be like why do you still talk to/ associate with that person. I just feel bad as soon as someone starts to show any sort of kindness to me if I was mad at them.
