Umm yes you are absolutely correct but I'd like to add something. Yes this might not penetrate the skin but the collagen in the mask acts as occlusive so yes it does moisturize the skin. It's a waste of money if you actually think the collagen is penetrating your skin but if just use it for moisturising it is worth it for providing intense moisturizing.

i don't see any difference tbh this can be achieved by keeping any hydrating mask for long time. even a homemade cucumber paste applied for same duration will do the same to skin.
Well with any skincare ur not going to see any dramatic difference overnight. Its just a sheet mask that gives extra hydration before events or something
