Have you tried Pour Lui by Oscar De La Renta? I haven't compared but some people say it is similar. Sadly I can't help you though that's also a very pricey purchase! Ouch! :(

I really rate this Margiela line, my favourite in the designer realm. Whispers in the Library used to be my fave but it became somehow metallic as it aged. So now my top 3 are: Jazz Club, Bubble Bath and Matcha Meditation.

Lipstick On - just finished a bottle, such a shame they discontinued this one. My favorite lipstick scent, doesn't smell old / vintage. Everything about it is just perfect. Ladies, get yourself a sample if you get a chance and you will enjoy it 100%
The choice to stick to the "replica" concept was honestly very smart for Maison Margiela. It prevents flankers and promotes creativity/unique accords. It really sets them apart as a designer fragrance brand
not with such poor longevity and projection sadly.

Whispers in the Library works really well on me. Jazz Club is probably my favorite. Can't do By The Fireplace after wildfires in my area a couple years ago. Driving through the burn after it rained... it smells the same! They all have amazing performance too. I have an old bottle of Moonwalk I never wear, too soapy.
I've had Whispers in the Library since Dec 2022 and only started wearing it this January - somehow I couldn't get into it, and now, magically, I really enjoy it.

Great list! I layer lemon tree with DG devotion. I have about 6...love on a date, the rain one is a nice freshy but i guess didnt do well. I like jazz club and i wear BTF to bed.
There are so many I enjoy from this line but it gets overwhelming. From the Garden is lovely but waiting for warmer weather. My next pickups will likely be Coffee Break and Autumn Vibes. Also interested in When the Rain Stops to add to my freshies.

I really dig “Under the Stars” . Very wearable “oud” for beginners.
I have never tried Lipstick On but I’ve heard that Sensuous Stars by Estée Lauder has some similarities. It has a kind of lipstick-y makeup vibe from the orris. The plum and lavender in the opening is really nice too. Not a dupe but it might scratch that itch. I love it anyway!
I was gifted Lazy Sunday Morning & although it wouldn't be my 1st choice, l enjoy it. Coffee Break, By The Fireplace & Beach Walk appeal but not sure l would spend the $215 AUD for the short longevity.

I haven't really gotten into this brand. I received a bottle of Jazz Club in a GQ subscription box along with a sample of by the Fireplace, but they are the only ones I've tried. They're ok, but they wear pretty thin. That has kind of turned me off because I like strong fragrances. I may check out a few more, though. I do like the sound of Under the Stars and Whispers in the Library. Thanks for sharing!

I’m weird!! I’m just finally starting to like matcha after a bad experience at Dunkin ( I’m in MA 🤷♀️) ha well the Matcha from there was gross! It was a mix of grass and 🐟 smell! I tried it again from Starbucks it was great!! But I’m afraid of this matcha perfume!!?
I’ve only found Jazz Club to interest me from this house. I’m not sure why the others don’t work for me. I’ve tried multiple discovery sets but can’t find anything that wows me.🤷🏽♀️

I have "Under the Lemon Tree" and "By the Fireplace" and for some reason I'm just not interested in sampling or buying any more bottles. To me the frags are too expensive for what you get. If they were each $40 I would have the entire collection. To me that's all they are worth.

I got the samples. They are very weak, for the price. I DID smell, and LOVE - Under the Stars. Which was woody, but so delicious. It was stronger than the others, too.

My favorite is By the Fireplace. It's the best from the line and it's just perfection in my opinion. And I can't stand Jazz Club. I just don't get the hype around that scent. Coconut booze and tobacco? No thank you.

Jazz Club is the best for me, By the Fireplace is overrated and too much even with one spay.
Very hyped up and overpriced. No longevity at all. Owned by L'Oreal and worth half what they are charging.

I hate the quality of MM! The concentration is the weakest ever. Their fragrances last 15 mins and that 15 mins isn't even a strong 15 mins.
The problem isn't the concentration. They tend to use a lot more naturals which tends to make the fragrance lighter. You should watch ATH so you learn why things aren't as strong as others.
Jazz Club and BTF are very potent and long-lasting on my skin!
Just tried “From The Garden” it lasted for hours on my skin. Might want to watch some vids to learn where and how to apply.
