I'm from England
I have to share what i interpreted in the music video:
my first thought when Rosie didnt use the colours in her painting was a colourblindness, which is why the parents took her to the doctor. Many investigations later the doctor gave them the hard diagnose: cancer. Soon the daughter lost the fight and after her death, her father took his life as well leaving the mom of Rosie totally on her own. The mother fell in a great depression, which is where the music video continued. Throughout the song, she is finally taking the step of watching her past with her little child. Dancing, drawing and other children help her get over her loss so she can finally be happy again.
The song is about how music helps people who suffer from depression or other major problems ("even if the heart is broken, keep on dancing"), and my guess was that "please tell rosie i'm not gonna come back till september [...]" refers to the mother telling her child she will not join her yet in heaven, since she has found out how to live a happy life again.

Weil einige das Video nicht verstehen und sie der Anfang auch irritiert: Das am Anfang soll ein altes Video darstellen aus der Kindheit der im Video vorkommenden Frau, das mit dem Regenbogen und der Frage warum sie nicht alle Farben benutzt ist eine Anspielung auf "Alle Farben" von denen der Song ist. Im Video geht es darum das die Frau ein eintöniges Leben führt und eigentlich nicht das macht was sie wirklich glücklich macht. Im Bus auf dem Heimweg sieht sie ein altes Pärchen und anschließend holt sie eine Kiste voller Erinnerungen hervor, da sie überlegt was sie früher gerne gemacht hat und was sie eigentlich auch noch wenn sie alt ist gerne machen würde um auch so glücklich zu sein. Dann fängt sie wieder an zu tanzen und zu malen, das was sie früher so geliebt hat und beginnt die Musik wieder als ihren "besten Freund" anzusehen und bringt Kindern das tanzen bei, das was sie so gerne macht und liebt und was sie glücklich macht. Im Grunde glaube ich soll das Video und der Song aussage das man das tun sollte was man gerne macht und einen glücklich macht. Also fangt auch mal an euer Leben zu überdenken wie die Frau in dem Video :)
