- Jason plays through the improved solo bot in the Mistwood expansion for Everdell.
RULES CORRECTIONS FROM THE DESIGNER -
1) Miner Mole copies cards as they apply to THE OPPONENT city, not your own. I used the Miner Mole and applied my own city bonuses throughout the playthrough.
2) 26:52 - Nightweave takes the next card clockwise, not the top deck.
3) 29:58 - Nightweave's worker follows the tiebreaker arrow to the next slot. She only moves to the next automa action if she is completely shut out of the previous action (ie, if a worker lands on an occupied forest space, they look for the next forest space). That happened a few times.
4) End of game - FINISH NIGHTWEAVE'S FINAL TURNS! She keeps going until she actively pulls a worker card and has no worker to place it.

I've been curious about this solo version. Thank you for the wonderfully voice game play and visual teach. This solo looks well executed. Cheers
You are quite welcome! I love this game :).
Nice playthrough! Will try that as well 👍
25:45 you would do the card effect based on the cards in Nightweave's city, not yours. And you use this copy mechanic multiple times which could be game breaking.
I just got Mistwood today so after I watch this (it's almost 1am here now), I'll get it on the table. 😄 Can't wait!
Enjoy!!
That Kndergarten card, is an inclusion in the new My Lil' Everdell?
Yes! Now that the embargo is lifted, I can confirm.
@@OneStopCoopShop Any word on whether these cards will be available from Starling Games as a purchasable expansion?
@@OneStopCoopShop Any word on whether those Lil' Everdell promos will be purchasable separately from Starling Games?
Will you show new leaf as well?
Highly possible! We’ll see how productive I am. Pearlbrook is next.
The new A.I. is better than Rugwort from the base game, definitely. However, it's still pretty simple in its execution. The mechanisms are nothing that we haven't seen before, and other games do it far better.
I agree about the Nightmist deck on its own. I think it goes to another level by adding the Personalities as well as Plots/ Plans.
