I think William should’ve definitely gotten more screen time, for the few seconds he was springbonnie he was so unnatural and creepy, I wish we had gotten more of him like that and with his mask on. I also wished the springlock was longer and more gruesome. But it was still pretty great what we got.
I think it could’ve been better, if we had gotten more scenes of William being creepy and evil it would’ve been more satisfying to see him “die” a gruesome “death”, I also think his reaction could’ve been better, I always imagined William screaming his head off when he gets springlocked but in this he just looked like he had gotten a bad leg cramp. And the use of the line “I always come back” was awsome to hear but it felt out of place, he shouldn’t know he’s coming back and he hasn’t come back from anything before this so it doesn’t make a lot of sense for him to say this. Respect your opinion tho and I still love the scene we got.

Personal opinion here: This guy didn't fit William Afton or Springtrap. At all. The FNAF Movie should have been a bit more brutal with how it handled things. The "Afton get's Springlocked" scene was ok, but they didn't make it look anywhere near as painful as it realistically would be (I know realistically he would have died, but that's kinda the point of Afton) and this actor saying "I always come back" just sounded forced. It didn't come off well. The line wasn't natural coming form this actor. I personally think that they should have saved the line for another movie or a post credits scene. And I really wish they got PJ Heywood (the guy who played Afton in the games) to play the live action Afton. He's already shown he's good at voice acting (that delivery for "I always come back" in the games. Terrifying) and if the actor is going to be wearing a suit for his most terrifying parts, then the voice needs to be menacing. Basically: Make the "Afton gets Springlocked" scene way more brutal, maybe throw in some screams of agony, and make it seem like he's dead, but... Option A: In a post credits scene have the suit leaning against the wall, eyes start glowing, slow laugh, deliver the iconic line Option B: In the sequel (we all know it's getting one. It's kinda obvious. Let's just hope they don't do it as just a cash grab) have the main characters shocked the suit is up and moving, and when they ask how Afton is still alive: BOOM! perfect moment for the line
