Ayami is a real treasure ! Amazing talented professional. First president really helped shape SG I think.
Ayami's brother is a professional jockey in horse races those are always... not tall (her dad is in the horses business he might have been a jockey too), it's clearly genetics.
Yeay thank you! Ayami is really good at speaking and doing some talk show-related stuff. Even though Ayami is a solo singer, it's one of her dreams to become a radio DJ and she's been doing her own radio DJ shows recently and they are really soothing and entertaining at the same time. Most of her radio appearances are also available on the SG subreddit.
Ayami is a natural born entertainer, and was already a seasoned performer even at this early age. She is just as charming and talented today as she was here. What to say about Marina? Adorable spaz, live action anime character, magical faerie, she is all of those and so much more. She followed Ayami and then Su as Sakura Gakuin class president in 2013. She has been one of the most versatile alumni of the group, performing in various fields of entertainment. Marina's first solo music CD came out earlier this year and it is as unique and wonderful as she is.

Ayami-chan is the complete combo: funny, clever, reliable, good advisor, leader, she can sing, dance and host, but she probably ditch all of that only to grow 5 cm. more ._.

I often wished they had given her a talk show after graduation.

At the end of the "Ayami's Room" segment, she said "yariniku" (too awkward) but the caption writer mistranslated that to "yakiniku" (grilled meat). ???
I thought the âgrilled meatâ seemed a bit random. And yet, it somehow fits. đ
Quick question for you, Rick: any idea if the girls were paid for being in SG? I would THINK they were, but I wonder if entertainment âveteransâ like Ayami or Su would get paid more...đ€
@@The_Great_Darino I've never heard them specifically talk about how much it was, but I would guess that any artist in the Amuse Kids division like Ciao Girls or Sakura Gakuin was paid, at least whenever they were in uniform.
Probably some additional revenue from any magazine photo shoots, etc.
It's funny how often that "Grilled Meat!" mis-translation flys under the radar, but you're right, it's not like it would be totally out of character for Ayami to say something that off-the-wall. : )
@@The_Great_Darino No doubt they are paid, this is not K-pop, different culture. Even shitty agency that got sued by idols did paid them (but then make them pay for lessons and costume, etc) I read once about junior idol about SG age got paid about „200k a year, but that's underground scene, major company like Amuse would be different. I also read that AKB kenkyuusei got paid „5k per performance, yet again it's different form SG; AKB kensyuusei performs 2-3 time a week, SG performs like, 6 times a year.
Hm, if my understanding is correct, "Yariniku-" could also be translated as "That was so difficult!"

Foreigners don't know if it's an English translation, but MARINA's Japanese language is interesting.
At the end of the word, "~ ssu" and "~ ssune" are usually boys' friendly words, but when she uses them, they are really cute.
She also adds "-kun" to the names of a lot of inanimate objects.
Horiuchi world is a special place. : )

Also, Ayami is set to release her third mini album soon (it may have already been just released. The twitter account is a bit cryptic)
Her new single was released today, the album will be released on the 15th September.
