Time to remove the old chain lift, design and build the helical ball lift.
Join me on the final stage to solder copper wire into a beautiful flowing form of kinetic art that allows beautful copper to couple up with earths finest gravity in an attempt to guide some stainless balls from top to bottom.

I am playing catch up with your videos and notice a massive amount of filming and editing done. It must get exhausting but the result is very entertaining. Wonderful work on the marble lifter too. I have made marble runs before but I've not yet mastered lifting marbles.

Thanks Mr C. I do spend such a long time on the videos. Sometimes more than the soldering work! Thanks for the comment.

It is because of you that has given me the inspiration to try to make a small version for myself. Never did anything like this before and I ordered my first soldering kit. Thank you

another thought for chain tensioning would be a spring loaded bearing to take up slack on the chain as needed.

HI, this really amazing. I love watching you and you inspired me to start my own project. Quick question: what is the actual ratio of track width to ball size that you are using?

Hi David. Good luck. My spacing changes like the weather. But it hovers around the 75% mark.

congrats on 1k subs, this part of a sculpture is why i dont start making one myself, too much messing about for my liking! i was looking into low rpm motors and got thinking about windup clockwork motors!

I think your sculptures are amazing! thank you for sharing your videos in such an explanatory and easy listening manner. This is something I would really like to try my hand at, as I'm not very artistic, do you have or can you draw any plans that you may sell to help a beginner? Either way thanks for your presentations, regards, Tony.

I used 1.6mm and 2.0mm copper wire. I buy from an online shop in my country.

Bro bisakah membuat lift dengan tenaga udara kincir , sehingga tanpa energi listrik sehingga akan terus memainkan dengan bantuan angin

Yes I guess that’s possible. Thanks for the idea.

Sorry, this lift was a one off and not made to any plans. Have a go at a best guess. Good luck.
