Never know what u will find at a yard sale! I'm always looking for new items to sell, never thought about sunglasses! I always check out the bicycles, but they're in my wheelhouse. I bought a cheap mountain bike for $10 a while back, cleaned up and aired the tires, got 40 a week later. (locally, of course) I always patronize the lemonade stands! I just found u a couple of weeks ago, subscribed, staying tuned.
Can’t go with $230. You need at least $"400 and lots of $1 and $5. Not having enough cash for that awesome find would hurt!! I take a roll-$10-a pocket full of quarters so that I can just pull them out for those 10-25-50 cent items that are a really good deal. Don’t have to wait for change. Hard to believe that there are things worth $$$ for 50 cents, people just don’t know or just want to get rid of it.
I have a friend who builds furniture and uses his living room as a showroom. Another friend buys "seconds/factory defect" furniture and does the same thing.
I love that you are go to yard sales with your dad. My mom and I yard sale all the time together. Love having my mom with me. I sure do that take it for granted. So blessed. We have learned so much from you tubers and are so thankful for all of you who give such great information. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Skimpy yard sales.I think I prefer the thrift stores more than yard sales.These days, people are having yard sales to make money not to get rid of stuff so much but for a profit. Times are changing so much Jake.
You are 100% correct. I live in the south and we wouldn’t know what to call that…because they definitely weren’t yard/garage sales. We have more stuff outside on our driveways on Saturday afternoons to watch college football.
Going to to Garage Sales lately - I have seen TONS of people selling Freeze Dried Candy. Oh my god, is that stuff addicting! I went out sourcing for items and spent 25% of my budget on a huge Freeze Dried Candy Haul - The Skittles are the best but Jolly Rancher and Hi-Chews are Epic As well!

I was at the sales Friday filled the car. Looks like a lot more sales on Sat. They have sales 2 times a year. Found some great stuff and some great expensive stuff I left behind.

Man i hate that when i hear about an outrageous yard sale after it's too late. Especially if it's a huge community sponsored sale in an affluent area. Another thing is when therexate two big community sales i look forward to all year - ON THE SAME DAY. Which to hit first. Even it they're right next to each other, numser two is going to be picked over and mostly over by the time I've combed over number one.
