He could have fought Gaethje in Feb. But Islam refused for no reason. That's the only reason Justin vs Max is happening. It's the only reason Dustin will get to slide in for the next title shot. Zero reason why Islam couldn't fight Justin in Feb. Saturday night will be Poatans 2nd fight since Islam last fought AND alex wants to fight again in 3-4 weeks if he gets pass Hill uninjured.
