@@lechatrelou6393 Because you put iron ore in your hotbar ONLY when you are planning to get and place iron ore somewhere. Normally belts and inserters do all the job. But with iron ore in your hotbar, probably your work is to be mining drill, logistic drone and inserter. At least you cannot be a furnace...

9:07 at this point, as I sat in anticipation to see what Reginald was up to, my pc suddenly restarted and I was forced to wait for it to update around 30 minutes, all before I could finish the video. The anticipation of this moment only grew before I was finally able to watch just to see Reggie get dicked down long style. Anyways Reggie downloaded malware to my pc and he’s holding me hostage.

i want to see a really long pvp session but only allow attack with rts style units on a big map, expensive crafting, researching and sparse resources patch with biters.

Sounds like you want to see Mindustry PvP. It's basically Factorio, but you manage an entire planet's worth of factory. It's got a lot more focus on tower defense and on building units to take out bases.

Factorio really needs an enhanced online pvp mod, where instead of the rocket launch your mission with your factory would be to build and develop armies of battle robots and destroy the other players base with them.
- the battle robots would be unlocked via AI technology, which would branch into your military tech with various more and more advanced AI controlled tanks and other robots (not the flying bots we have, but all kinds of land and aerial robots), which the player would command in standard RTS-fashion.
- the player character themselves would be invulnerable, and the point would be to force the opponent to surrender by destroying their base
- maybe you could even develop some kind of biter farming technology, which would allow you to grow an army of biters to your command
- otherwise the gameplay would be just like normal factorio, where you build everything from scratch, develop automation and sciences to harness more of the map resources
- because the game is very long, there should be an online save game function to better allow non-competitive play

I hope there will be a continuation of this, it was quite fun to watch (and hopefully to play too). A verSUS like this, with all players getting at least slightly familiar with the game's mechanics, at least a little familiar with how to play, with at least 1 person on each team being at least somewhat good at building & automating stuff.

I had to take a good screenshot of the dialogue window, photoshopped out the text and changed the pictures of characters. Text is animated by hand. Sound effects are isolated from gameplay footage. The red fail check effect is available on CZcams as a green screen template
