    Band Maid absolutely the best hard rock bend in the world at least for the last 8-10 years!!! Thanks for your reaction.

    Sticking to the middle years with the songs… which are great, and so listener friendly. I wonder what you’ll think of their newer, insanely dense proggy stuff like Black Hole, Different, Influencer, etc.? If you love that, as well as this, you’re gonna be hooked on them for life!

      I admit when I was going through the catalog here on CZcams I purposely skipped a couple newer songs to save for later lol.

    *BAND MAID!*
    This song was released 7 years ago in 2017 right after *Just Bring It* their album release which composed mostly of songs written by the members themselves. This is when *BAND MAID* really started to cook!
    🤘❤‍🔥🤘

    The set design is the exhaust system from an old Chrysler V64 turbomatic. 🚙🌪

    "More poppy feel"
    A strange phenomenon with Band-Maid is that you catch on to particular parts of the song in terms of it's sound. The choruses often feel poppy, but that's mostly just the melodies. Listen to other parts of Yolo, and it's crazy how hard they're playing. Even the background riffs in the poppy choruses are really hard... even a bit proggy here and there. The ability for you to hear them differently on subsequent listens is one of the magical things about their music.

    You ask yourself, "How does Band-Maid come up with so many incredible riffs. The answer, "Kanami Tono is a freakin' genius!" This song,"YOLO" was composed long before Band-Maid was formed. She kept it "in her pocket" until the band was allowed to write and record their own music by their management company. Once that happened, this banger came out. A bit of news" PRS Guitars recently released a statement that Kanami was given her own custom made guitar with her additions from her suggestions and input. They are not available for sale (yet). If they were, they would run between 10K or 14K apiece.

    There is a beautiful piano version by Kanami of this song here on YT.

    They were transitioning from their pop-punk roots to hard rock sound at that point. This song, to me is all about 2nd verse onwards. I love the slightly weird trippy vibe. The music matches the lyrics like an impressionist art.

    😂 What we’re all laughing about is that you’re getting hyped with goosebumps and you haven’t even seen them LIVE yet. As an old cat who saw his first live rock show in 1978? I testify that Band Maid is easily in the top ten live bands, worldwide, all decades, all generations.
    And the best part? Their live videos still aren’t the same as actually being there.

      @lurkmerchant Před 21 dnem +4

      You have to experience Band-Maid live, even though they play 23-24 songs on average, it's not enough. They probably swap a couple of songs in their next live, possibly with different intro, or mid-section, possibly Saiki singing intro a Capella, you never know what surprise they'll offer you next. I'm going to japan next year for the day of maid concert and I'm already stoked.
