Exactly! I was the speaker at a recovery meeting last night and outlined over 50 years of my journey through an abusive childhood and an addictive young adulthood. All in 15 minutes! I shared some things I’ve never spoken of out loud and it was so very healing for me. This is the first group I’ve found that has absolutely no judgement and I feel like they’re my soul family. I am walking away from toxic people and places AND have instituted a morning ritual of praying, reading, writing and meditating. It works! Thank you for your service. You really nailed this one!❤
